Tyler and Ania become so close with each other. Ania even overcomes her trauma in such a short period of time. She feels safe and secure with them around her. All of them give her the attention she needs and the love she's always wanted. Tyler even takes her to his shooting practice whenever Slacovich and the others are busy. They enrolled her in a prestigious school and will personally take and pick her up from school. They remain calm in every attempt Volton makes against them. They don't want to be reckless and risk someone's life. This time, they're going to make sure to counter with a big blow, for Ara's sake and theirs.
Back at Volton's company, the Demonfire's calmness triggers him even more. His patience is totally gone. He wants them to strike back but gets nothing in return. He thought the moment Ara's death reached them, they'd seek revenge immediately, but yet they stayed low and no further action was taken to strike him back.
"This is driving me nuts! All the preparations and plans have been for nothing! They are testing my patience!" Volton throws his table in anger.
"Dear, please calm down. Maybe they're planning something big against you. It's impossible for them not to seek revenge. Especially since they lost Ara, who's been family to them. Knowing how close they are with each other, for sure there's something going on." Dr. Spencer caresses his back and makes him sit down on the chair as she sits on his lap facing him.
"We've monitored all their movements, yet they don't seem to bother at all."
"That's what they want you to think. When they know you're agitated, they can see an opening and will let you be left unguarded. Do you want them to do that?"
"I just want to show them the power of the four reapers. To prove our strength and dominance over them."
"They will witness it with their own eyes in time. For now, let's play the waiting game with them."
"You know I just can't sit still. I need to provoke them in any way I can."
"Then why not start with their new princess? She's studying at Middleton Elementary. We should pay her a visit."
"Great idea. There's going to be a family event at school, they'll be there for sure. Ask the principal about the details of that school activity. I'm volunteering to be the sponsor. Let's see how they'll react to our presence." Volton grins evilly as he kisses Dr. Spencer and lays her down on the sofa.
At the mansion, Ania happily gives out the flyer for the school event happening this weekend. She kisses their cheeks one by one and makes them sit on the sofa. She stands up on the table in the center and excitedly shares the news.
"Oh! Ania, be careful." Diego assists her as she climbs the table.
"Listen up everyone." Ania smiles widely as she can.
"There seems to be something good. What is it?" Li asks as she fixes Ania's uniform.
"Well----" Ania then feels a little shy.
"Come on sweetie, we've been your family for seven months and your birthday is coming up in two weeks. You should feel at ease, Ania." Slacovich carries her in his arms.
"Well, there's going to be a family activity at school. And all of you are my family, so if you're not busy, can you come to my school and participate with me?" She looks down and blushes shyly.
"That's really news, Ania. All of us will be going there. Even your big sis Carolina and Grandpa Nicholson. We won't let it slip by." Tyler takes her in his arms and kisses her cheek. All of them can see the happiness in her eyes.
"Really? Yay!" She kisses Tyler's cheek repeatedly in happiness, then asks him to put her down and gives everyone a loving kiss on the cheek. Ara might not be around anymore, but Ania lightens up a new path for them.
"I'm the happiest kid in the entire world. All of you are coming, no one will bully me anymore."
"Bully? Who's bullying you at school, Ania?" Harry's face turns serious, making Ania feel defensive.
"Not really, big brother Harry. It's just that my classmates often tease me, saying I'm alone and not loved by anyone. They always put things in my bag, making me look like I stole them."
"Whoever dared bully you will pay double. What else did they tell you?"
"They told me I don't have a family. I kept telling them I have all of you, but they won't believe me."
"Then this family activity will be the proof. We will show them what kind of family we are. About that, let me give you something." Slacovich opens an envelope with documents inside.
"What's that?" Ania asks innocently.
"This is proof that you are family. From now on, you will be Ania Demonfire. All documents are settled and legalized. You are legally our princess." Ania is very, very happy to hear the greatest news of her life. She now has a family and a home she can call her own. They all celebrate her legality as a member of the Demonfire family and go out to eat at the best restaurant. They booked the whole place and let the chef serve them personally. On their way to the restaurant, they are greeted by all the employees and the owner himself.
"Welcome, Mr. Demonfire. We are honored that you chose my restaurant as a place to celebrate something important. Having all the members of your family here is truly an honor. Is this the new Demonfire princess?" The owner faces Ania with a smile.
"Yes, she's a real Demonfire. The only princess." Tyler carries her in his arms like a spoiled princess. The employees take them to their seats and the chef personally serves the food. They treat Ania very well, which overwhelms her. She wants to use the washroom, and Li takes her there.
"Ania, I'll answer the call for a bit, okay? Will you be alright inside?"
"Yes, big sis Li. I'll just wash my hands." Li stays outside the washroom to answer the call. Another girl enters and sees Ania washing her hands. She's Ania's classmate who always bullies her. She's the daughter of the restaurant's owner.
"What are you doing in my father's restaurant? You shouldn't be allowed here!" She angrily grabs Ania's hair and pushes her down to the floor. Ania doesn't cry but instead stands up and fixes her dress. She walks past the girl, but the girl grabs her by the arm.
"Clarisse, I don't want to fight with you."
"Since when did you have the right to talk back?" Clarisse slaps her and Ania just holds back her tears.
"I'm not going to cry. I won't fight you back because that's bad." Clarisse's mother enters the washroom and pretends to be pushed by Ania. She cries and rushes to her mother.
"What happened to you?"
"Ania pushed me!"
"What the hell? Who gave you the right to bully my daughter?" Clarisse's mother grabs her collar and yells at her. Ania still tries hard not to cry. Then she's dragged outside the washroom. Good thing Li finishes her call and is about to get back to Ania. The scene breaks her heart as she sees Ania being dragged away forcefully.
"Hey, let go of her!" Li gently takes Ania away. To Clarisse's mother's surprise, she steps back when she sees Li angry.
"Miss Li, I didn't know that the little girl was with you." Her voice trembles.
"You don't need to know. Even if she's not with us, you don't have the slightest right to hurt a kid!"
"But I saw her bully my daughter."
"Ania never bullies anyone! Did you actually see her bully your daughter?"
"Well, my daughter said Ania pushed her. And I just saw my daughter crying."
"Well then, can we see the surveillance footage? I'm sure it captured the truth."
"Then if that's what settles it, I'll take you to the security room."
"Mom, no." Clarisse stops her mother from going to the security room.
"And why is that, little girl?" Li glares at her. She just cries instead. Getting terrified by Li's glare, she tells the truth.
"She didn't push me. I lied. Don't tell Father or Mom or he'll get mad at me." Li carries Ania and takes her back with the others. Slacovich and the others see her swollen cheek and get mad.
"Who did this to you?" Li looks at the little girl, and the rest understand. Clarisse's father rushes to their side to ask forgiveness for his daughter's actions.
"Mr. Demonfire, I'm sorry. I'll discipline my daughter. Please don't let this affect our business transactions."
"Don't worry, big brother Slacovich. I'm okay. Clarisse told big sis the truth already. Please forgive her." Ania smiles at them. Their hearts melt at how kind-hearted Ania is.
"You heard our princess. If she forgives her, then we will too. I just don't want this to happen again."
"Yes, Mr. Demonfire. Everyone, serve them the best wine, it's on the house." The employees double their efforts in serving them all. Sofie kisses Ania's swollen cheek and whispers in her tiny ear.
"No one will bully you starting today. This is for you and for your big sis Ara. We will never disappoint her and we will love you with all of our hearts." Ania smiles and hugs Sofie tightly. Then they enjoy the rest of the day happily as a whole family.
