Chapter 2 - Chapter 0002 The Power of One Punch

Ji Wuyue's almond eyes were wide and round with anger as she glared at Luo Feng. Her beautiful eyebrows were slightly raised, and her aura grew intensely fierce, as if she might explode at any moment.

Every student of the Silver Moon class watched Luo Feng excitedly, their eyes gleaming with malicious pleasure, looking forward to a good show.

"Hehe, this Luo Feng really isn't afraid of death, daring to yell and scream during 'Iron Fist' Ji Wuyue's class," one student snickered. In the middle of the crowd, the tall and burly Lin Hui crossed his arms, a contemptuous smile on his face as he watched Luo Feng.

"Boss, he must have gone crazy from the shock," a shifty-eyed student next to Lin Hui chimed in, sidling closer with narrowed eyes and a fawning smile.

Thanks to Lin Hui's additions and exaggerations, everyone in the Silver Moon class was aware of the incident between Luo Feng and Lin XiaoXiao.

In this embellished story, Luo Feng had become a toad lusting after swan meat, while Lin XiaoXiao was transformed into a princess...

Lin Hui gave an appreciative glance to Yang Ting, who had approached him. Assuming an air of profound wisdom, he nodded and said, "He must have been driven to despair because he couldn't pursue my sister. Ji Wuyue was eliminated in the Golden Palace assessment twice in a row, and she's now seventeen. In another month, it will be her last chance to enter the Golden Palace. Given her current mood, Luo Feng daring to provoke her now... I fear that even if he isn't killed, he'll at least lose a layer of skin this time..."

Surrounded by heated discussion, Luo Feng was totally unfazed, still immersed in the shock of the abnormal changes in his internal Meridian Wheels.

He had been shocked when four Meridian Wheels suddenly opened inside his body and initially believed he had achieved the fourth layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm. It wasn't until he calmed down that he realized that was not the case.

These four opened Meridian Wheels were all within his Yuan Guan Acupoint and Shenque Acupoint. His cultivation realm was still at the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm; he had not yet made a breakthrough.

Why is this... That's right! My soul merged with the original owner's, so my Soul Power is double that of a normal person. That's why I have eighteen Meridian Wheels inside my body!

Luo Feng's mind was sharp. Within moments, he understood the situation inside his body, and the realization made him so excited that his body began to tremble slightly.

Soul Power is the most important talent of a Martial Artist; it is inherent and unchangeable.

The stronger the Soul Power, the better the physical constitution, and the faster the cultivation speed!

Luo Feng was assigned to the Silver Moon class precisely because his Soul Power was average.

And those 'geniuses' were individuals born with inherently strong Soul Power.

However, even a genius typically only possessed Soul Power slightly stronger than an average person. For Luo Feng, who had merged two souls and now possessed eighteen Meridian Wheels, this was an absolutely unprecedented event throughout history!

Hahaha... The Golden Sun class is called the genius class, and that Duanmu Yu is also considered a genius. Compared to me now, they're nothing but clay chickens and pottery dogs! Lin XiaoXiao, just wait! It won't be long before I make you realize how foolish your actions were! Realizing the changes within his body, Luo Feng was ecstatic. His fists clenched tightly, an irrepressible smile spreading across his face.

Seeing Luo Feng laugh, the surrounding students were all stunned. They had seen daring people before, but never one this audacious! This was no longer just disregarding Ji Wuyue; it was an open provocation!

The smile on Lin Hui's face grew even wider. Luo Feng is doomed this time!

BOOM!

Ji Wuyue's face turned livid with fury. She stomped her right foot on the ground, instantly leaving a deep footprint. A fierce gust of wind shot out, and an imposing aura, characteristic of a Martial Artist at the peak of the sixth layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm, descended upon them. The students standing in front of Luo Feng turned pale and quickly retreated.

WHOOSH!

In a flash, Ji Wuyue was standing before Luo Feng.

Her eyes, usually sparkling like stars, now blazed with fierce anger. Ji Wuyue stared at Luo Feng, gritting her teeth, and said in a deadly, chilling tone, "Luo Feng, you'd better give me an explanation! Otherwise, carry two hundred pounds and run ten laps around the training field!"

"Ten laps!"

Everyone gasped.

They all knew that Luo Feng only possessed the strength of the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm; his power did not exceed two hundred and fifty pounds. The Purple Sun School's training field spanned tens of acres. Carrying two hundred pounds while running ten laps would likely cost him half his life!

For a moment, everyone was as silent as cicadas in winter, terrified of provoking the enraged Ji Wuyue.

Startled by Ji Wuyue's loud shout, Luo Feng snapped back to reality.

Is this... in the classroom?

Seeing Ji Wuyue's grim face right before him, Luo Feng swallowed hard, his own expression immediately turning grim.

If he really had to carry two hundred pounds and run ten laps around the training field, he wouldn't be able to get out of bed for half a month.

Luo Feng had been at the Purple Sun School for nearly three years. In just two more months, his initial three-year term would conclude. If he still hadn't opened four Meridian Wheels and entered the inner courtyard by then, he would be forced to drop out and return home, forever losing his chance to pursue the path of Martial Arts. He would truly become the failure everyone despised and scorned!

Therefore, every second was precious to Luo Feng now. He couldn't afford to waste half a month!

Taking a deep breath, Luo Feng forced himself to calm down. With a flicker in his eyes, he said to Ji Wuyue, "Instructor, I just had a breakthrough!"

"A breakthrough!"

A sudden silence fell upon the surroundings, quickly followed by a deafening roar of laughter.

"Hahaha... this kid has really gone crazy!"

"Everyone knows his cultivation has been stuck at the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm ever since he entered the academy. Now he claims to have broken through? Impossible! He can't even come up with a decent excuse!"

Lin Hui shook his head slightly, a cold sneer on his face as he looked at Luo Feng. In his opinion, Luo Feng must have panicked to come up with such a pathetic excuse.

Ji Wuyue's fine eyebrows knitted slightly.

Although she hadn't been a Martial Arts Instructor for the Silver Moon Class for long, she had heard that Luo Feng had been stuck at the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm for three years. Moreover, she didn't sense any aura indicating he had opened his third Meridian Wheel.

Is he lying to me? But this lie is too clumsy...

It wasn't impossible for someone who had just broken through to be temporarily unable to sense the changes in their realm. Ji Wuyue didn't want to judge her student prematurely, so she sighed softly, her tone softening as she asked, "Luo Feng, did you really break through?"

Ignoring the ridicule from all around, Luo Feng looked directly at Ji Wuyue, his head held high, and said, "Instructor, if you don't believe me, we can exchange a punch. Then you'll know."

The surroundings suddenly fell into an eerie silence. Everyone exchanged uneasy glances. Luo Feng actually dared to suggest exchanging a punch with Ji Wuyue? This was simply audacious beyond belief!

"Boss, could Luo Feng have really broken through?" Lin Hui's follower, Yang Ting, glanced at Luo Feng and asked uncertainly.

"Cut the crap! How is that possible? He hasn't broken through in three years; how could he suddenly do it now? This kid must be trying to avoid punishment, so he's deliberately saying this, trying to deceive everyone!"

Lin Hui wore a cruel smile. He had always regarded Luo Feng as a good-for-nothing and didn't believe for a second that Luo Feng would break through at this time.

His gaze shifted, a cold, piercing light glinting in his eyes. He beckoned to Yang Ting. "Yang Ting, come here."

"What is it?" Yang Ting moved closer to Lin Hui.

"Later, you just..." Lin Hui glanced at Luo Feng with a cold smile, whispering a few words into Yang Ting's ear.

Ji Wuyue stared at Luo Feng, her expression somewhat troubled.

The peak of the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm only provided about two hundred pounds of strength, while the third layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm surpassed five hundred pounds. Luo Feng was correct; whether or not he had broken through would be clear the moment they exchanged a punch.

However, Ji Wuyue was only seventeen years old and had only recently become an acting Martial Arts Instructor for the Silver Moon class. She had never sparred with her students before and worried that if she couldn't control her strength, she might injure Luo Feng, which made her hesitate.

"Instructor, I also just recently reached the third layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm. Since Luo Feng said he's broken through, our strengths should be comparable. Let me exchange a punch with him. How about that?" As Ji Wuyue hesitated, a voice suddenly spoke up, and a figure stepped out from the crowd.

"Yang Ting..."

Luo Feng looked at the figure who had stepped out, his gaze intent. He then shifted his eyes to Lin Hui, whose gaze met his. Their eyes locked.

"You're dead meat!" Lin Hui silently mouthed these three words to Luo Feng, a sinister smile on his face.

Luo Feng looked at Lin Hui, already understanding his intentions.

Yang Ting was one of Lin Hui's followers and had entered the third layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm three days ago. His stepping forward now undoubtedly carried malicious intent.

If this had been before, Luo Feng would certainly have been wary of Yang Ting's strength.

But things were different now.

Luo Feng had opened four Meridian Wheels within his body, making his physical constitution twice that of an average Martial Artist at the second layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm. Luo Feng estimated his strength was already around five hundred pounds, equivalent to that of a Martial Artist in the early stage of the third layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm.

Smiling back at Lin Hui, Luo Feng confidently stepped out from the crowd and said to Ji Wuyue with a grin, "Instructor, since Yang Ting is so enthusiastic, I'll exchange a punch with him!"

This kid! He still dares to act tough when death is staring him in the face! Lin Hui's face turned ashen as he watched Luo Feng. His fists clenched so tightly they made CRACKING sounds.

Ji Wuyue sighed with relief when both parties agreed. She nodded and said, "Alright! You two will exchange one punch using only your own strength. No Martial Arts techniques are allowed."

With that, Ji Wuyue stepped back a few paces to observe from the side.

Luo Feng and Yang Ting stood facing each other, drawing the undivided attention of everyone present.

"I wonder who will win..."

"Isn't it obvious? It's still uncertain whether Luo Feng has broken through to the third layer of the Meridian Wheel Realm. Even if he has, Yang Ting broke through three days before him. He's definitely slightly stronger. Luo Feng will be lucky if he doesn't lose too badly."

"That might be difficult," one person said, shaking their head and looking at Luo Feng with sympathy.

"Lin Hui has always looked down on Luo Feng. Now that his sister, Lin XiaoXiao, has broken off with Luo Feng, it's clear Lin Hui is behind Yang Ting stepping forward. Yang Ting definitely won't show any mercy. It'll be a miracle if Luo Feng escapes unharmed."

The relationship between Lin Hui and Luo Feng was clear to everyone. A flurry of discussion erupted, with most people not optimistic about Luo Feng's chances.

CRACK!

Yang Ting, with his small eyes, glared at Luo Feng as he cracked the knuckles of his right fist, making them pop. He then sneered, "Luo Feng, prepare to be bedridden for a month."

Luo Feng looked at Yang Ting without saying a word.

His Soul Power was strong, and his perception keen. Standing before Yang Ting, he could clearly assess his opponent's vital state.

The other's aura was superficial and unsteady; his realm clearly hadn't consolidated yet. He posed no real threat to Luo Feng.

"Enough of your nonsense!" Luo Feng's aura suddenly intensified. Like a fierce tiger pouncing on a rabbit, he shot towards Yang Ting.

"Seeking death!" Yang Ting roared in fury.

His strength had been among the lowest in the entire Silver Moon class. Having finally opened his third Meridian Wheel just three days ago, his confidence had surged. When he appeared before Luo Feng, his nose was practically in the air, utterly looking down on him.

Now, seeing Luo Feng—this good-for-nothing who hadn't broken through in three years—dare to disregard him, Yang Ting felt like an ignited barrel of oil. He roared, veins bulging on his face, as his right fist blasted towards Luo Feng's chest!

The fist carried a sharp gust of wind, accompanied by a piercing whistle, like the fangs of a venomous snake.

"Basic Martial Arts: Tooth Fist!"

The crowd gasped, recognizing the origin of Yang Ting's move. No one had expected Yang Ting to suddenly use a Martial Arts technique.

Only Lin Hui watched with a smile, a malicious glint in his eyes.

HMPH! Ji Wuyue, standing to the side, had a cold expression. Her hair fluttered as she made to intervene, but she suddenly paused, a flicker of surprise in her eyes.

He actually wants to harm me!

Luo Feng's perception was now even stronger than that of third-layer Meridian Wheel Realm Martial Artists. Yang Ting's seemingly fierce movements were crystal clear in his vision.

Seeing Yang Ting unleash a Martial Arts technique, Luo Feng's eyes turned cold. His body moved before his conscious mind could react.

Luo Feng exerted strength through his feet, his entire body coiling like a taut spring. He then shot out, pouncing towards Yang Ting like a tiger or wolf, his right fist smashing fiercely towards Yang Ting's incoming fist!

"Basic Martial Arts: Leopard Fist!"

BOOM!

The two figures collided in an instant, sending dust flying. A silhouette screamed as it was flung out from the dust cloud, crashing heavily onto the ground.

The students began shaking their heads. By this point, who didn't understand that Lin Hui had orchestrated this?

He had Yang Ting feign a simple exchange of punches, only to have him suddenly use a Martial Arts technique at the last moment to seriously injure Luo Feng.

This time, Luo Feng will probably be bedridden for ten days to half a month, many students thought, looking at the defeated figure on the ground.

As the dust gradually settled, the identity of the figure lying on the ground became clear. The surroundings fell into an eerie silence.

The person sprawled on the ground, face covered in blood, was Yang Ting!!
