The next day, Shen Yi Nian appeared in a good mood at the company.
Her boss called her to his office as soon as she arrived to discuss her position at the office. However, Shen Yi Nian was not as worried as she had thought. She had prepared for whatever decision the company would make and would fight for injustice.
As she walked into the office, Shen Yi Nian saw her boss looking her up and down with a complicated look on his face.
Her heart skipped a beat but Shen Yi Nian remained calm.
"Sit down." The man said, motioning to the chair in front of him.
Shen Yi Nian sat and stared at the man in front of her. She observed the man's expression, hoping to get a hint of what will happen to her job but it was difficult when the man continued to stare at her in silence.
"Did the company decide to fire me?" Shen Yi Nian asked after a long silence in the room.
The boss finally retracted his gaze and heaved a sigh. "No. The company decided that you should stay."
