The azure sky was dotted with white clouds, and the sun's warm rays, typical of a winter's day, brought everything to life. Such clear weather was considered a good omen. The villa by the sea was bustling with people; most men wore smart suits, chatting and laughing among themselves, either loudly or with restraint, while the women, mostly in beautiful dresses, were like delicate flowers, attracting everyone's attention.
"How do I look, Ed? How do I look?" On the other side of the villa, Dennis fidgeted with his bowtie, incessantly asking Adrian.
"Don't worry, Dan, you look handsomer than ever. Even if Jenny gets cold feet and runs away halfway through, there will be ladies at the wedding willing to take her place," Adrian joked.
"Stop joking, Ed. If that really happened, I'd have to jump off a cliff," Dennis said, taking a deep breath, obviously still very nervous.
"Okay, okay, how was the bachelor party last night? Did I miss anything?" Adrian changed the subject with a laugh.
