"Thank you," Doug said, though he seemed somewhat distracted, as he was thinking about the scene when he met Ya Xi today.
On the other side, Ya Xi became disinterested after Doug left. Jiang Zhehan noticed this, and after Ya Xi got distracted again during a conversation, Jiang Zhehan finally spoke out of helplessness, "Ya Xi, are you feeling unwell? Do you want me to take you home?"
Ya Xi came back to her senses and nodded at his words, "Thank you."
Jiang Zhehan smiled and said, "Actually, it's my fault. If I had known you weren't feeling well, I wouldn't have insisted on going out, and I wouldn't have let you eat cold desserts. Next time, let's wait until you're feeling better, and then I'll take you out to eat."
Embarrassed, Ya Xi spoke up, "Actually, I'm the one who should apologize today. Next time, let me treat you to a meal."
