In the car, Pei Yinong looked at the man sitting silently in the passenger seat and found a place to park.
"Doesn't your hand hurt?" Pei Yinong grabbed Jiang Chenxi's hand and asked. Jiang Chenxi furrowed his brows, his face still hadn't relaxed, and he turned to look at Pei Yinong, "I just can't get over it."
Pei Yinong smiled, "You should be happy, actually. He came back, and that gave me a chance to see his true face. It also made me realize how good you are."
"Yinong, I'm not joking with you."
"I'm not joking either, Chenxi. I know you're worried about me, but really, there's no need to fuss over such a person. I'm very grateful that I chose you. However, I regret that the person I fell in love with initially wasn't you."
Jiang Chenxi looked straight into Pei Yinong's eyes, her gaze gentle, "If you encounter him again, don't get physical; you'll only hurt your own hand."
"Yinong, if you're upset, you can talk to me, or even cry."
