Outside the main gate of the Xiao Family.
Mu Ruyue stood at the entrance, her gaze scanning the formidable gate in front of her, yet before she could step forward, she was blocked by a long spear barring her way.
"Stop right there!"
The guard looked at the woman in white before him with a cold eye and said in a chilly voice, "This is the Xiao Family's estate, not a place where common folk can intrude at will!"
"I am here to look for someone," Mu Ruyue lifted her gaze, speaking faintly, "I wonder if Xiao Feng is here?"
"Xiao Feng?" The guard was taken aback and sneered, "Sorry, we don't have anyone by the name of Xiao Feng here!"

Mu Ruyue's brows furrowed as she contemplated.
That old man shouldn't have lied to me, but how could big brother not be at the Xiao Family?
