Darenn and Aranea were still quiet, still the thought of the Metanoia in their mind as they looked at each other, about to process what had happened.

Aranea wasn't sure of how to finish the sentence. With the thought of Darenn not being able to talk freely since he was a kid and with seeing how his father treated him, she didn't want to ask it directly because it may seem insensitive of her.
