From MC's Perspective:
My expression caught them off guard. I immediately tried to calm my heart down.
"What happened?" Austin asked.
Hearing that the Main Elder's gaze fell on Zack Lockwood. They could see something was wrong.
Faction Leader Clifford notices the expression as well. The kid has been explaining with a calm expression earlier. What happened now?
"Zack, did something happen?"
"You can tell us. If there is anything, I can even request the Dean to sort it out," Clifford said in a serious tone.
Hearing that, I sighed inwardly. I don't know whether any good outcome would come from telling them.
"It's nothing, Faction Leader. I thought of something else," I said to them.
Ann frowned. She could tell something was wrong as well.
"This kid had already faced so many life and death situations. What is he hiding right now?" Ann asked in her heart.
The other main elders thought that the kid was lying.
Leola's expression changes for a second.
