Suddenly, cheers erupted throughout the Colosseum which made Jason refocus his attention towards the arena and he watched as Velgrin and Elyze started combatting each other head-on—matching their strength and speed.
Since the use of lethal weapons and methods were still prohibited, Velgrin made his daggers to become coated with a misty aura—a safety measure to reduce the effectiveness of the blades.
Elyze, on the other hand, did not morph its stingers into a non-lethal form and used them to try and land hits on Velgrin—but the Werewolf was able to dodge the attacks.
"They may not be venomous, but I have to make sure to avoid getting hit by these!," Velgrin thought as he parried an attack by Elyze.
"You're a strong fighter. But how long can you last before you succumb to my hands?," Elyze asked as it pressed its stingers onto Velgrin's defensive block.
