Millions of light-years away from the Moral civilization, a dim star floated. In orbit around this star was just one planet, a forgotten world that no civilization wished to interact with because they represented war and greed.
In this universe, civilizations not part of the Cosmic Federation had no human rights whatsoever. Even if they were plundered or destroyed, the Cosmic Federation wouldn't care. It was commonplace for life in these civilizations to be enslaved, and the people on this planet had been doing just that for a long time.
However, even though they had no allies and no friends, they were astonishingly wealthy and powerful. Through the plundering of civilizations and the sale of slaves, they amassed resources. This civilization even had several Transcenders in its midst.
