Alex pushed himself further and further each passing day, improving not just his pain tolerance but also his Intent as well.
He had already reached the point of just barely making the seal flex, so with some time, he should be able to break through it as well. It had taken him a year to do so, however, so he would have to continue for many more months.
Alex did nothing to cultivate in this time, except consuming a few pills Whisker had brought with him in order to gain back his Qi.
As far as he knew, the Sunhearts were the cause of everything that was going on in his Soul Space. However, he couldn't discount the fact that the Sun Wraiths may just be equally responsible as well.
So, he couldn't absorb any Qi that wasn't neutral. Even that he only did once every few months as it was needed. Otherwise, he didn't want to do anything that would affect whatever was happening within his body.
