Relief washed over Alex almost the moment he felt the pop. He felt himself mentally lurch forward as though an obstacle in his path that he had been pushing for so long had disappeared all of a sudden, causing his momentum to continue to carry him forward.
Alex stopped immediately before he could do any harm to the others in his Soul Space.
Alex felt incredibly excited at the fact that he had broken through the seal and was even ready to celebrate when his happiness turned sour.
The seal was still there.
'What?' he thought in confusion. How could the seal exist when he had broken through it just now?
He could already tell that he was seeing the inside of his Soul Space. So he had succeeded, and yet the seal still existed?
Alex pushed down his questions and observed the situation at first. He looked through the seal in its entirety and was surprised to find that he hadn't done anything to it at all.
