I then bursted off at a fast speed, which I could only reach in wolf form. SNAP. Was the sound, as Jade snapped a werewolves neck. ' Fuck, ' she thought, as she dodged an punch from a vampire. She wished she didn't believe her source, which led her to a trap of over a hundred vampires and werewolves each. " Ki…, " one of them was saying, as I drained him dry in five seconds. " Get him, " one of the werewolves said, as they charged at me, who was slapping their heads off easily. Unknown to me, the person who I drained dry ingested vervain and wolfsbane, which is killing me from the inside slowly, as my healing factor is stopping it from acting faster. I reached Jade, as we're still surrounded by ⅘ of the werewolves and vampires. " Jade, what kind of trouble did you get into, " I asked, as Jade giggled. " The kind you were getting yourself into as a hunter, " Jade answered, as our true face showed.
BOOM. A vampire was crushed by my foot, as I drained my thirteenth werewolf's blood. Ever since I drained that vampire when I came, I've been getting weaker and weaker. STAB. I was stabbed in the back by a wooden stake, as I grabbed my stabbed and snapped her neck, killing the werewolf. Only five vampires left, versus me and Jade, easy. " Jad…, " I was saying, as I fell to one knee, which gave two vampires the chance to grab my arms. Jade is busy fighting two vampires at a time, as one of the vampires is charging at me. SWOSH. I gained a little strength, which allowed me to slam the vampires holding my arms into the one charging at me. CRUNCH. Was the sound, as I killed one of the vampires. STAB STAB. Two of the vampires stabbed me with wooden stakes, and I grabbed them by their throats. They tried to break free, and snapped their necks so hard, causing their heads to fly off their shoulders. I looked at Jade, who killed one of the vampires, as the other vampire managed to take her down. STAB. Was the sound, as I was stabbed instead of Jade. SWOSH. Was the sound, as I took his heart out of his body. " Ja...Jade, le...leave n...now, " I stuttered, as more vampires and werewolves came into the room. " Jayden, you're dying, I ha.., " Jade was saying, as I kissed her, making sure not to get her infected. " G...Go, " I said, as I managed to stand up. " GRRRRRR, " I shifted into my wolf form, which stunned everyone, as Jade ran away.
A couple minutes later, Jade came back to the place with Josie, Hope, and Alaric. " Where is Jayden, " Alaric asked, as all they could see was headless bodies. THUD. They heard, as they ran to the noise, to see me sitting on the ground, bleeding, as venom was flowing through my veins, killing me. " Jayden, " Josie and Jade said, as I let out a weak smile, as I'll die in a couple minutes, even with the healing of a witch. Josie was about to do a spell, as I slowly shook my head. " I...It wo...won't w...work, an...and I...I'm cl...close an...anyway, " I managed to say, as I coughed up black blood. " They laced the wooden stakes in vervain and wolfsbane, and it's the same for the blood of the dead bodies, " Alaric said, as I motioned for Joise and Jade to come closer to me. " J...Jade, pr...protect J...Josie fo...for m...me, an….and do...don't b...be sa...sad, " I replied, as they nodded. My eyes were about to shut for good, so I managed to kiss Josie and Jade on the forehead, one final time. " G…., " I didn't even manage to finish my word, as my vision faded.
A couple days later, Alaric made a small funeral for me, which Maya, Hope, Josie, and Jade attended. Jade and Maya managed to find Jennifer, Jenna, and Khadijah, and they came to the funeral. Everyone had something about their favorite memory of me, as Khadijah and Jade are lowering my casket. " Jay, I...I'll miss you, " Jade said, as they started covering my casket. A couple moments later, they're eating, as Khadijah, Jennifer, and Jenna go to Jade. " Who are you Jayden, " Jenna asked, as Jade let out a weak smile. " I'm Jade, I'm an important person to Jayden, as we both had feelings for each other, " Jade answered, as Jenna hugged her. " How did he, um, die, " Jennifer questioned, as Jade got out of the hug, and looked at the ground. " A couple weeks ago, he gave me this compass, when I press the gem, it'll show my location to him, I pressed it a couple days ago, when I was being attacked by multiply werewolves and vampires, Jayden came and helped me leave, as he was already poisoned as soon as he got there, he stayed behind and killed the remaining people, which I think made the poison spread even more, when I got back there with Alaric, Josie, and Hope to heal him, he told u..us it was to late, and he died in me and Josie's arms, " Jade answered, as they all hugged her.

Jade has stayed at the school, and began dating Josie, as Josie befriended a werewolf girl named Finch. Alaric had taken more safety measures to the school, as Josie and Jade practice ways to be better than themselves everyday. Hope has been thinking of killing herself, so she can awaken her vampire genes. Hope and Josie learn more spells and perfect the spells they know every chance they get. Everyone had healed last week, and are getting back to their old selves, which is great. BOOM. A vampire was running away, as he was feeding when he noticed someone watching him. " Leave me alone or I'll kill you, " he threatened, as he heard footsteps. "~Sh Sh Sh Sh Sh, stop running~, " the figure said, as he tried to attack the figure only to end up on the ground. " First meal in a month, " the figure said, as the figure bit down onto his neck. After a couple minutes, I was full as I smiled, and his body dropped to the floor. " Still hungry, " I muttered.
