But the woman moved swiftly and placed her gloved hand over the phone.
"Don't," she said, voice low but sharp. "That would be a mistake."
Old Master Fu frowned. "Why? We have the upper hand now."
She turned to face him slightly, still shrouded in shadow.
"That's exactly why you must stay quiet. This is not the time to gloat. This is the time to win the public's full sympathy."
"You think people will forget all this?" he scoffed.
"No," she replied.
"But they'll forgive. Eventually. If you stay patient, and stay the victim, they'll come back to your side completely.
They already want to. The more hate your grandson receives, the more people think you were right all along. Let them think you are hurt… broken… but still kind."
Old Master Fu's brow furrowed.
"And the people I hired to storm the hospital?"
The woman tilted her head. "You will apologize to them."
