Shu Yu found it odd and whispered to Ding Yuehua, "Do you know that girl?"
Ding Yuehua waved her hand to dismiss the broker who was about to introduce them, then pulled Shu Yu aside to a corner and said in a low voice, "That maid was just sold off by the Fan family not too long ago."
Shu Yu glanced at the maid, "Did she cause trouble?"
Ding Yuehua's expression was somewhat indescribable as she slightly shook her head and said, "Not exactly trouble. That girl had previously learned back-opening massage and the skills to soothe the meridians and had always been attending to Grandmother. The old lady had made some muddled decisions in the past, disliking it here, so she went to the Manor outside of town to retire."
Muddled decisions? Shu Yu raised her eyebrows.
