Lex frowned. Life was truly difficult when determining one's strength was not so straightforward. Everyone present on the battlefield was an Earth Immortal - more or less. Yet, when compared to an average Earth Immortal, any one of them would be far superior.
Thus, in a way, they had already surpassed the threshold of power normally associated with Earth Immortals.
Now the problem was that he was facing successive enemies, each one with a power level surpassing the norms of their cultivation level, with each set of enemies being even stronger than the previous one.
Was there an upper ceiling for the amount of power one could achieve within a certain realm? Probably. But determining the median power level, as well as the general upper ceiling in terms of power a cultivation level could have, was not something Lex was interested in.
Instead, it would be great if he could figure out why the chimera were so strong, and what could be done about it.
