Unknowingly, the merchant ship docked.
Bai Ziyue, carrying a bulging beast hide bag, led a small dog off the ship by its leash.
It took a while for the dog to regain its composure and its steps became stable and agile again.

Standing by the port, Bai Ziyue looked around. The dock here was at least ten times larger than the one in Qinghe Town. The dock was bustling with robust men unloading goods, streams of vendors, and in the distance, rows of houses of varying heights, closely packed together.
After a brief orientation, Bai Ziyue quickly found himself on a wide street.
The ground was paved with blue stones, wide enough for four carriages to pass. On both sides of the road were wooden lofts and shops, their doors wide open to welcome guests, with signboards of varying ages hanging above them.
The bustling crowd was elegantly dressed, their faces radiant, unlike the impoverished, numb-faced folks of Qinghe Town.
