Alix wished she could grudgingly eat her dinner but it was so delicious that it melted away her grievances and Jin completely went out of her view. But then the sight of Jin having his own dinner was all very clear to her.
"Why are you eating here?"
"Shouldn't I have dinner with my wife?" He smiled.
It irked her. "Your family is downstairs."
"You are also part of the family now."
"I want to have my dinner alone."
"Let's just say we are having our own dinner in our own space."
Her gaze darkened. She didn't like this. Jin's intentions were clear to her. She wasn't too comfortable with family dinners but neither could he see her cooped up all alone in the room as if she was a stranger.
"It's good this way. I have had enough of Grandpa stealing my food."
She said nothing and ate her food in silence.
"Mom cooked today's dinner."
She stiffened. She looked at the empty bowl which had held soup until a minute ago. She had almost licked it clean.
