While reading through the description of the problem, Vaan discovered it was a medical issue. The person had been poisoned by an uncommon neurotoxin that caused paralysis in the left limbs and obstructed the circulation of energy.
According to the person's description, they knew what neurotoxin it was and even found out the required elixir to cure it. Moreover, the elixir was even available at the Grand Exchange Hall.
