"F*ck! What the f*ck!"
Frank couldn't stop swearing, struggling extremely hard to free himself from the mud, covered in muck from head to toe. But that wasn't what frustrated him the most; it was his feet that were stuck in the mud, and his combat boots were firmly sucked in and couldn't be pulled out.
The Amazon rainforest also has swamps that can swallow people whole, although this is often exaggerated. Frank had encountered a rather normal swamp, trapped in perfectly normal mud.
With some time and effort, one could always crawl out.
Frank was annoyed because, after all, he is someone with a reputation, seasoned in many battles, having witnessed numerous big scenes. Yet today, how did he end up falling behind the team?
It wasn't that his teammates abandoned him, but that he himself fell behind, and to accommodate him, two others had to be left behind as well.
Was he already being eliminated despite not being that old? Frank absolutely couldn't accept this.
