The Philippine army starts to infiltrate the capital and soon the royal palace. Once they finish inspecting the entire area, Gonzales entered the audience hall followed by Irellet and Christine.
In the audience room, stood a man old enough to have Grey hair, his horns too starts to turn white marking his old age.
"Father!" As soon as the two lady saw their father, they rush towards him without minding any formality.
"O-ohhh, *sob*, my lovely daughters... I thought you all perished too! *sob*" the reunion of the two was so heartfelt making Gonzales decide to not interfere.
"Yes, father... We're here. We won't leave you behind anymore!" Christine said as she cry within the arms of her father.
Irellet though remain silent as she cries. The warmth of her father can never truly be compared to anything.
However, their reunion soon stop as the current king ask about the man with them.
"Enough of this, daughters. It's not very much of me to cry like a lady. I'm the King again, you know! By the way, who is he?" He asked.
However,
"A-actually father..." Christine interrupt her father.
"We made a deal with the leader of the Republic of the Philippines." Irellet said breaking her silence with a dejected face.
"What is it?" looking confuse, his father ask.
"You will be controlled by the Republic of the Philippines. Apologies for eavesdropping." Soon, Gonzales interrupt them and slowly approach the three from the huge door.
"W-what do you mean by that?"
"As a country who lost a war, isn't it your obligation to comply to us? So, we are here to give you these. I hope you can read our language, but if you can't, just let your daughter read it."
"What's this?" Getting angry because none of his question answer, he asked one more time.
"Documents, papers that will be your country's future."
The king's face sunk upon hearing the words of the man. His daughters can only hide their face from the humiliation as their father tries to comprehend the situation.
"We will be controlled by another kingdom?"
"Not really a kingdom, but yes. And no, you can't refuse. We are currently spreading our force around your country to infiltrate and capture every possible vitals. Even if you refuse, it will only cause the lives of your daughter and of course, you." Shock run through the face of the king as he now understood his situation.
"I see, so this is the reason why my son killed himself." The wry smile of his says it all, the humiliation he will face despite being the so called greatest king, the life he will live under another ruler."
"Please father, comply to them. I don't wanna see anymore bloodshed. If you've seen the other side, I promise you it's so scary." Christine said to his father as a warning.
It then convinced his father. Since they were left with no choice, he comply.
"Then as a king, I abdicate myself and throne my daughter, Irellet Yggdrasil as the queen of the new kingdom of Yggdrasil."
"F-father!" surprise and terrified expression flow through the face of the lady once she heard the absurd declaration of his father.
"You're the only one who will be able to help our kingdom rise from these tremendous fall. I believe to you my daughter." He smile as he put the crown right above the head of his daughter.
"What's your name, young man."
"Manuel Gonzales, sir King." a little offended by the sudden commanding voice of the king, he still pretend to not sense it.
"Then, can you promise me one thing?"
"Perhaps, I should hear it first."
"Then, can you protect both of my daughter?"
A wry smile escape Gonzales's lips. He knows he can't do that, but still he can't give them such answer.
"Depends, sir King. However, its always decided by our leader, the president. If you want, I can send your words to him so he can guarantee the lives of your daughters."
"I see, they are in that kind of era, huh. No wonder we lost." He mutters which only the two of his daughter hear making them agree.
"You saw it too, father?" Christine asked and the King only nodded.
"Then, I'll be leaving you since I still have my job as the current commander of the army."
Soon, the three were left behind by Gonzales as they continue their heartwarming reunion.
