Anning was chatting with Christina when Vanni came in: "All the preparations are done, you two stop chatting, it's about to start."
Anning nodded, and as he was about to respond, Vanni added: "Happy wedding, General."
Anning looked at the maid in surprise, momentarily at a loss for words.
Christina smiled at Vanni and said, "I hope you too find your true love soon..."
"I'd rather not; having a man is like having a weakness, and a maid shouldn't have weaknesses."
Anning was shocked, wondering how Vanni could utter such anachronistic words in the 18th century, making one suspect she was actually a versatile maid who had time-traveled and just recently leaped into an anime realm, defeating other maids while wota dancing, with ketchup flying everywhere.
Christina, of course, couldn't think this far. She smiled awkwardly, "Well, there's no need to be so devoted to work. We truly appreciate your years of earnest service, treating yourself well occasionally is okay..."
