Five Days Before the War;
The Blackbeard Pirate crew was sailing towards the Mary Geoise. At this moment, the crew only had a few people.
The Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates. He was a tall and fat man with a black beard and broken teeth. His skin was tanned. He wore a red shirt with a black jacket and green pants.
He had three pistols on his waist and a bottle of rum. He also had two large necklaces.
"Zehahaha! Boys, it's time for us to claim our prize. Everything we have done will be rewarded. But until then, I need you guys to wait for me."
Marshal D Teach, the Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates, laughed wildly.
"Wiihahahaha! Captain, I can't wait to visit that prison. But are you sure about visiting the Mary Geoise? What if they trap you there?"
A tall man with thin legs and a large upper body spoke. He wore a strange hat. He had curly violet hair that came off the back of his head.
He also wore a normal t-shirt with normal pants, but he had a strange companion belt around his waist.
His name was Jesus Burgess.
"Are you stupid, Burgess? If the Marines dare to betray the Seven Warlords, they will lose this war for certain. More importantly, Captain is not going to stay there on the day of the war."
A tall man with pale skin and thick red lips spoke. He wore a hat and black tap dancing shoes. He also wore a white colored long-sleeved shirt with yellow crosses and navy jumper pants.
His appearance was quite different than other Blackbeard Pirates, but he was on hell of a cunning guy, just as good as his Captain Blackbeard.
His name was Laffitte.
"Fate will guide us to our success. Captain, you were the one to defeat Ace. Surely, they will not let you leave on that so easily. But I believe fate will guide you to us just like in the past."
A tall man and a thin man with light brown hair that goes down his lower neck. He appeared calm but looked pretty emotionless.
His eyebrows were almost always furrowed in what looked like a saddened expression.
The left lens of the black glasses he wore was a normal, rectangular eyepiece, but the right side was circular and held what appeared to be a cross hair.
He had a large black hat, protruding on both sides. It was shaped like an upturned boat's hull.
He wore a long black cape, under which he wore a button-up, pale lavender shirt with loose sleeves and simple black pants, with a maroon belt and an aqua outline that goes over a small part of his shirt.
His appearance was similar to Laffitte's, like a gentleman instead of a pirate. But he always held a large rifle in his hand.
His name was Van Augur.
Standing or sitting next to him were a horse and a man on top of the horse. The horse's skin was light blue with white hair on top. It looked out of energy and collapsed on the deck.
The man on top of the horse was in a similar state. He was a large man with a nose longer than normal people and an unshaven face. He appeared to have strange purple tattoos coming from his hairline to the corners of his eyes.
He had long and ash blond hair. He wore a black fur coat, a wide-brimmed, black beaten hat, and what appeared to be a dark white hangman's noose around his neck.
The Horse's name was Stronger, and his name was Doc Q.
"Captain is a lucky man. I am sure he will be fine and meet us here. But Captain, this war might get more chaotic."
Hearing that, Laffitte narrowed his eyes and said.
"He is right, Captain Teach. During your fight with Fire Fist Ace, he revealed that Monkey D Luffy is his brother. Since his brother is going to be executed, I feel like he will make an appearance in this war."
"Zehahahaha! There is no need to worry about him, Laffitte. I admit his strength, but we are not useless. Besides, our appearance in the war will be at last."
"As long as I get that fruit, there will be nothing stopping me from destroying the Marineford. I have waited twenty years for this fruit, and now, I will achieve everything in just two years thanks to this fruit."
"Zehahaha! But you are right about one thing. He will be a tough contender for One Piece. That boy is too young. There is a very little chance that the World Government will let him live for long."
"But if he does, then he will be a problem for us. You will need to gather as much information as you can. As soon as the war ends, we will start hunting Devil Fruit users."
Hearing that, Augur asked.
"What if they don't survive this battle? After all, it is the Marine Headquarters we are talking about."
"That's the thing, Augur. We are treading on a thin wire. If it moves too much, we will fall. If we can't control ourselves, we will fall. But if we believe in our fate, we will surely succeed."
"Devil Fruit chooses a person. Dark Fruit chose me, and I will surely reach the top with this fruit."
"Right now, we shouldn't consider whether Straw Hats will be a threat to us. We should consider whether they can even survive this war. If they can, we will do whatever it takes to get more powerful devil fruit."
Hearing that, Burgess laughed.
"Wiihahahaha! Captain, I want to eat a powerful Devil Fruit. Only a powerful Devil Fruit can make me a better Champion."
"It is very hard to find weak users with powerful Devil Fruit. Especially in this sea where there are thousands and thousands of pirate crews."
Hearing that, Teach laughed.
"Zehahaha! That's the thing, Laffitte. Once I get that fruit, except for the Emperors, we don't need to worry about any other pirates. I didn't waste twenty years in Whitebeard's ship doing nothing."
"As long as they are not that powerful, it doesn't matter who they are. We can fight them. We can crush them and we can take their Devil Fruits."
"Wiihahaha! That's right, Captain. Let's crush them."
Burgess started laughing loudly as he showed off his muscles.
"They are here, Captain."
Augur spoke. At this moment, they were staying in a pirate ship they captured. It wasn't their ship.
Their ship broke when they got near the battle between Aokiji and the Straw Hat Pirates.
"Marshal D Teach, your crew can enter the warship, but your ship can not be near us."
In a large warship, a Vice Admiral stood near the bow of the ship and shouted.
"Zehahaha! I was waiting for you, Vice Admiral." Teach didn't recognize the Vice Admiral, but with his attire and the fact that the marines would only send someone of his status to bring him made it was clear.
As their ship got closer, Teach and his crew jumped on top of the warship.
It was simple. Teach had already asked the marines to take his crew to Marineford and asked them to stay there.
To ensure Marines accepted this condition, he told them that his crew would fight against the Whitebeard Pirates as a whole, rather than against an individual warlord.
The Marines didn't understand his intention and agreed, but as a crew, they weren't allowed to enter the Mary Geoise, where the meeting of the Seven Warlords was being held.
So after the warship took Teach to the Red Line mountain, the Vice Admiral took his crew directly to the Marineford.
Teach was taken directly to the meeting place of the Warlords. He was surprised to find that only Mihawk and Doflamingo had arrived.
Because this was a compulsory attendance, every warlord must arrive; otherwise, their identity as a warlord would be rebuked.
Crocodile was already out before he joined the warlords. Moria was dead. Kuma was with Luffy. Jinbei didn't want Marines and Whitebeard to fight.
So, he was imprisoned in Impel Down.
Boa Hancock didn't like the World Government, so she would never enter the Mary Geoise.
But considering the importance of the position as Warlord, she would join the war sooner or later.
So, except for four of them, the only people joining the war were Doflamingo, Hawkeye, and Blackbeard.
Doflamingo joined for fun. Hawkeye wanted to test Whitebeard's power. And, Blackbeard had his agenda.
"Zehahaha! Where are our colleagues? How come even Moria and Kuma didn't join?" Teach laughed as he walked to one of the chairs and sat down.
At this moment, a tall man with a long hat entered. This man was none other than Sengoku.
"I am not sure of the reason, nor do I care. Those who didn't join this war will no longer have the identity of the Warlord."
