Liam Yancey narrowed his dark eyes, bloodshot veins pulsing within, and the fire in his gaze deepened, "Really don't know? Hmm?"
Her breath catching, Tara Summer clutched the man's bathrobe tightly, holding her breath as she said, "I'm not a man, how would I know? Liam Yancey, you really, really are annoying right now!"
She suddenly began to miss his icy demeanor; his current ardor was truly leaving her overwhelmed!
"Then let me tell you..." He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her body closer to his, and bent down to whisper in her ear.
Tara turned her head away, trying to dodge, but there was no escaping. She heard him whisper a few words into her ear, and the next second, her face flushed to the root of her neck.
"Really, really?" She turned back, staring at him in shock, her face one of disbelief while her heart raced and her voice stuttered.
"Don't believe me?"
