For days Audrey was unable to sleep, she turned and rolled on the bed, memories of that night flooded in every night. The was he pinned her down, the pain she felt as he tried forcing himself in. The way he struck her down, everything so painfully vivid. But every time she took a sniff from the cloak, her mind went numb, everything felt peaceful. So this is what he smells like.
Today was the third day and Audrey hadn't left her bed, and she knew she needed to freshen up. Her head still ached from that night, but at some point today she felt it kept increasing. She didn't bother to redress her wounds during those days, it's been so long since Dean hands touched her. She remembered those times when he'd always tease her, pat her head or other things, this was the closest he ever got to her by himself
Her headache didn't seem to subside, maybe her wound was infected. Audrey took a step away from the bed, and all of a sudden she felt dizzy. She paused for a while, trying to get herself. Is taking a shower really worth it at this point?
She took another step, and the pain in her head spiked up. She felt her brain would Pop inside her head, what hurt the most was the root of her head, she felt as tho her hair was being pulled out her scalp. She looked towards her wardrobe mirror, the root of her hair looked white. "What is going o-"
"Ah!", she felt a stabbing pain again in her head
She looked up again, the root that seemed white shined silver. But that wasn't what got her scared, her left eye. Her once russet brown eye was white, no difference between her iris and the pupil. It began to hurt, she had to close her eyes, when she did, images of her buried memories started to flood in.
She could see herself in the car,the time of the accident.
She was sitting at the back, seat belt still strapped around her. Young Audrey looked forward in a daze, at her parents who were both unconscious. She could barely keep her eyes open, she turned her head towards the car door that was being forced open. The car was laying on its side.
The car door shut open, someone stretched in, unbuckled her seatbelt then pulled her out. She opened her eyes to see who tried to rescue her, he had the same shade of silver hair she had, or threatened to grow right now.
The scene changed again, this time to the roof top incident, the time she attempted suicide. The guy with the same shade of silver hair and a pair of black eyes, he's the same person that saved me, all those years back.
It didn't actually seat well with her, the person that saved her from the car accident, was the same person that wasn't phased when she was about jumping down that building.
The further the scene went, the intensed the pain she felt in her head was. She knelt down clenching her head so tight, the pain wasn't bearable. It went on till, she couldn't bare it anymore then passed out.
She found herself in her usually dark place, it felt so cold and empty. So much going on in her head, what was happening to her? Why was it happening to her. What was she being punished for, going through all this hard time.
She laid down, arms and legs wide apart, she was to exhausted to cry. She closed her eyes, since she couldn't see anything, why leave them open?. A familiar scent waved passed her nose, her eyes shot open.
"Dean?", even tho she couldn't see anything, she frantically searched for him. She could also some how feel his presence, so definitely he was right there.
"mm" he answered. She heard footsteps and assumed he was going. He barely arrived, it was to soon.
"Don't go... Please".
For a while they was silence, then he replied "Don't worry, I'm not in a hurry".
"Thank you"
"Thank you for saving me that night", she used the opportunity to thank him, only God knew what would have happened if he didn't save her that night.
"Hmm sure",Dean gave a short reply.
He wasn't really showing interest in engaging in a conversation, but that didn't bother her, at least he replied.
"I'm sorry",Audrey said pulling herself up to sit, she still didn't know exactly where he was, but she knew he was around.
"What for?"
"For what happened in the past. For what I did".
"Like you said, it's all in the past", he said a brief reply.
"you're still upset",she said looking down at her hands she couldn't see.
"What makes you think so?".
"I hardly see you,i know you're avoiding me. You never visit until either I'm unconscious, in danger, or near death. The closest I've ever been with you physically was the night you saved me".
Dean had nothing to say, what could he say, she was right. He knew if he decided to meet her once, he'd crave to meet her over and over again. He couldn't let that happen, he isn't the same Dean she once knew. He was a king now, she could be in so much danger. If those demons find out who she was to him, her life would be in grave danger. He couldn't risk that.
"Audrey, I am not the same person you once knew, I have people to rule", Dean said.
"I don't mind at all Dean, I just need to see you. In person. Even if it's once or twice in a year, just to know I'm not running mad, or loosing my senses", this was her chance, she didn't know when next she'd ever be able to get this close to him, or have a conversation with him, even if it was for a minute.
"When you become stronger and live a good life, then i'll think about", he said.
Audrey was left dumbfounded, she could see a ray of hope to one day reunite.
"A good life", she trailed. " just tell me what I need to do anything".
"Just live Drey. Live".
When last did he call her 'drey, she felt water well up in her eyes.
"Stop all this. Suicide attempts, any kind of harm. Be normal, go back to school. Work, live your life Audrey", he said.
"And how do I do that? Look at me, I look like a walking skeleton. How do I come back? I'm way behind in school, probably fired from my previous job.", she whined.
"You're a smart girl, you'll figure things out. I trust you", he said. "When I see you build back your life, that's when I'll tell you when we can meet".
All the while they spoke, she didn't know where exactly he was, she just knew he was there. He's fragrance was strong, smelt of royalty, she could also feel his presence.
"I need to go",he said, Audrey didn't bother to stop him. She was full, filled with chances and rays of hope.
Dean's Pov < before he came to meet her>
Dean sat on his throne, his right leg place on one of the armrest, while my left leg was down on the ground, his right hand on his face. He felt so tired and so lost in thoughts, he didn't notice when Xavier walked in.
"Master", he called.
"Mm" Dean answered, not changing his position.
"I'm sure you're well aware who the young miss could possibly be, you witness her changes in the room. You felt the surge of power as well".
It came at a shock to Dean, they are high probability that Audrey could be the heir Death is looking for. But Audrey, she's just a naive and delicate girl.
"Now that you know young miss isn't mortal or a human what will you do?", Xavier asked, he walked further towards Dean.
" I don't know Xavier, I don't know",Dean said removing his hand from his face sitting properly. He rested both his elbow on the armrest of the throne bring his palm to his chin. "I need her to be strong and healthy First".
"By now, I know she knows she isn't normal, by all the things that has happened. I need her strong enough mentally and physically, before I relay this information to her, that's if she hasn't found out herself".
