Audrey's POV
Audrey was done with Lectures for today, and fortunately she understood everything that was taught today. Since she had no where to be, and had enough time on her hands, she thought to stroll round the campus before heading home. Her lecture hall was on the second fall, and the lecture building was wide and big. She explored a bit of her floor, before leaving the building.
She was too lazy to walk, so she decided to ride her board. It would be easier on wheels because she would be able to cover more places than on foot. She hadn't gone far when she heard soeone yelling, more like a stern conversation. She had the intention of ignoring it because it didn't concern her, but when the voice became more violent she had to check.
"I told you to do the assignment before yesterday and I didn't get anything either yesterday or today", some one said in an angry voice.
Audrey traced the voice to the back of a school building still under construction, the place was isolated and since it was evening only a few people remained in school. It was a girl in a blonde pixie hair cut that spoke, she wore a blue mini jean skirt with a light green and white wide striped top.
Audrey couldn't see who she spoke to because her figure covered the person, and she felt it wasn't her concern.
Audrey thought of it as fued between people and was about leaving till she heard.
"Are you deaf?!", the sound of someone being slapped sounded very clear around the area. Audrey couldn't ignore that so she came a bit closer to where it was happening, she saw a girl being pinned to the wall by the girl in a pixie. Behind her were 3 tall looking guys, they all cornered the poor girl.
"This is your last chance, speak up or I'll break your arm",the girl threatened, holding the other girl by her collar.
"I'm sorry clai-re. I had done it, but I couldn't find it afterwards", The girl pleaded with a swollen face, her messy black hair all over her face.
"Sorry doesn't cut it", Claire said about to slap her again when Audrey finally spoke.
"Stop".
Audrey held her board under her arm, then walked closer to get have a better view at the girl Claire held. The girl looked so terrified.
she had light peach skin, her messy ink black hair fell over her shoulders. When she looked up, Audrey could see her dark green eyes behind her round glasses. The girl wore a dull miss matched old fashion outfit,She wore a dull orange sweater with green knee length shorts. dressed like a bully magnet.
"Who the fuck are you?", Claire turned to look at Audrey with an irritated look on her face, still holding on to the girls sweater.
"Let her go", Audrey said walking closer to where the poor girl was pinned. The boys who stood behind Claire now stood in front sheilding her.
"And if I don't", Claire said still holding on to the girl, this time more harsh than before. "Looks like I found another puppet".
"Please spare her", the girl spoke earning a slap from Claire.
"Did I ask for your opinion?", Claire asked angrily. " Now stand there quietly".
Claire finally let her go, and now walked towards Audrey. The boys in front gave her way to pass, Claire stood face to face with Audrey. Audrey eyes darted to the girl who held her left cheek, as she bent to pick her broken glasses from the ground.
"who are you to talk to me that way", claire said with Authority, even tho she was a few inches shorter than Audrey. Another entitled brat, Audrey rolled her eyes.
Audrey didn't answer her, nor give her any interest. She just walked passed claire and was heading towards the injured girl, when one of the guys pushed her down.
"You have some nerves", with a wave of her finger two Boys stepped forward. They both attacked simultaneously, luckily Audrey dodged each of them
Audrey punched one in the tummy and kicked the other in the face, giving her room to meet the girl.
"You'll get yourself in trouble. Claire is really dangerous", the girl cried holding her books to her chest. See who I want to save, Audrey rolled her eyes. Before she could say anything, she was pulled by her backpack. She freed her self from her bag, the guy threw the bag away like nothing important was in it.
"Claire please don't hurt her, it's me you want", the Girl begged.
"Shut up!", Claire yelled at her, irritated by the girls voice. "when I'm done with you, you won't ever defy me".
Claire advanced towards the oddly dressed girl, and Audrey noticed that. Audrey stood firm, then elbow the guy in his stomach. The force made him fall back. Immediately Audrey ran picked up her bag and her board, then stood infront of the girl.
Audrey turned to look at the girl, "run".
"But what-",
"I said run!", Audrey said startling her, but she did as Audrey said. One of the guys saw her running and wanted to go after her, but Audrey followed after and kicked him right in the tummy.
The other 2 wanted to pursue the girl but Claire raised her hand stopping them, "forget about her. I want you to take care of this one, she shouldn't be able to attend school in a while".
They all nodded and went straight for Audrey. Audrey was on high alert, she had to use quick thinking and had to be highly on guard, a small slip up could cost her.
During her time of healing process, she took martial art classes. Luckily it came in handy.
The first guy threw his fist towards Audrey dodged it, striking the other one that came close to her. The third and second charged towards, she had no time to calculate who to attack first. She kicked one from behind, and kicked the other one in his jaw. Claire just stood there watching, her hands flooded across her chest. She didn't look happy.
Audrey knew she couldn't fight them all, so she decided to run. Something seemed off, wasn't there 3 guys. Shit, Audrey cursed picking up her bag and her then began to run.
"Don't let her get away!", Claire yelled and the 2 other guys ran after audrey. Where they fought was a building still in construction, so they were alot of stuff laying around. Audrey dropped her board, she gathered sand from the floor in her hand and threw it at the face of the guys. To her left was a metal and she picked it up. So much for a good impression for my first day, she sighed striking one of them at his knee. He screamed in pain and before the other could attack, her struck his face making him fall unconscious to the ground.
Audrey dropped the metal, quickly picking up her board and began to run.
"Argh! Get up you fools!".
But Audrey was far gone, she went to look for the girl she had told to run.
"Let me go!".
She wasn't that hard to find, he had already caught up to the weird girl.
People watched what happened, but no one dared to intervene. And fortunately and unfortunately they were no lecturers around, fortunately that she wouldn't get caught beating up this guy and unfortunately the girl was being tossed around like a ragged doll. She had so many bruises on her body and face.
Audrey rushed towards them, before he could raise his hand towards her again. She kicked the side of his knee bringing him down, and he let her go.
"I thought I told you to run, your senses didn't work far enough to tell you to hide?!", Audrey scolded the girl. She didn't have time to say much, the guy had stood up.
With out warning, he punched Audrey in her face
"Ouuu", people gasped, but still made no advances.
Before he could strike her again, she held his fist then headbutt his nose. Audrey bled from her mouth and nose, with the force he used to hit her. The guy staggered back holding on to his nose, Audrey turned to look at the girl.
"Run to the school clinic, hopefully someone would still be there. Pick up your things and don't stop till you're there, take my bag"
"No matter what don't let Claire or her goons sight you. Am I clear?!", the girl nodded and began to run. She looked in pain, but she ran anyways.
The little conversation they just had wasn't up to 5 minutes, and the boy she nodded was on his feet with fire in his eyes.
"What did I get myself in to?", Audrey asked herself taking a stance. Right now the combat they had was hand in hand- toe in toe, no room to rest or breathe. The guy was strong, but Audrey could counter his attack and still give a powerful blow. Due to his strength and size, he was able to land Audrey a few blows, but she did not back out.
She couldn't fight for long, she could already feel her muscles giving out. She calculated the distance of her board from her, and any possible way out. When he gave her an opening, she stroke his throat. When he held his neck gasping for air, she elbowed his stomach and kneed his face.
Not wasting a second she ran to her board, picked up and skated away. She rode like the wind, like her life depended on it.
She made sure no one was following her, before she rode to the clinic. The girl was there and had already been attended to.
That's when the pain hit her in full force, she had to hold the frame of the door to keep herself up.
"Are you alright?",the girl asked rushing towards, she kept quiet knowing how stupid her question was.
"I am fine", Audrey answered the visibly seen question, of course she wasn't fine.
The nurse on duty attended to Audrey as well, Audrey has a lot of Injuries and was really bleeding. But with every alcohol disinfectant to her wound, she didn't flinch.
When the nurse was done, Audrey picked her bag and walked out.
"Wait!", the girl rushed towards her, Audrey paused and turned to look at the girl.
"Thank you".
"Thank you for saving me back there", The girl bowed her head in appreciation.
"sure", Audrey replied.
"I'm Damaris".
"Audrey",she replied then continue walking away.
