Chapter 10 - Chapter 679: Natsu VS Thundurus

...

Thundurus!

At this point, Thundurus was clearly not in a friendly mood. My man was pissed.

His eyes were blood-red, which pretty much screamed his overflowing rage. His gaze fixed on all the Pokémon present; these bastards wreaking havoc in his territory were his primary targets.

The sudden appearance of Thundurus, both Mr. S and Natsu hadn't expected.

Mr. S, already at a disadvantage, had pretty much confirmed Natsu's identity by now, thanks to the Snorlax and Bewear he'd encountered earlier. He screamed at Natsu: "N! We need to combine forces and fight for Meloetta to calm Thundurus down, or this is going to be a goddamn graveyard for all of us!"

He sounded serious and had ditched his previous arrogance, but the glint of greed in his eyes showed he wasn't entirely sincere. The motherfucker probably just wanted Meloetta for himself.

"Thundeeer-!!"

Thundurus didn't give them time to discuss.

Terrifying blue electricity exploded from his body, unleashing a tyrannical current that swept towards all the Pokémon.

Mr. S got no response from Natsu. Nidoking, taking advantage of Beedrill being stunned by Thundurus's sudden appearance, broke free from the encirclement and came to his side.

Thundurus swept a wide area with his electricity, and it was all absorbed by Nidoking.

As a Ground-type Pokémon, Nidoking should be immune to damage from Electric-type moves.

But this wasn't just any move. Thundurus's Electric-type moves were not comparable to those of ordinary Electric-type Pokémon. This was the real deal, not some spark show.

While Nidoking absorbed the current, he definitely suffered a certain amount of damage.

The injuries on his body were proof of that. His ass was getting handed to him.

On Natsu's side.

Before Thundurus's move even fully launched, Hydreigon's move was far more ferocious than Nidoking's actions.

His "Dragon Tail" swung, and the terrifying force it carried swept Alolan Muk right off the ground.

Just as Alolan Muk, already battered by Hydreigon, was sent flying, Thundurus's "Discharge" move slammed directly into her.

"Dreiigoon-!!"

Then, with a growl of anger.

Hydreigon wasn't one to be outdone. He glared at Thundurus with a growl, his eyes fixed on him, but his body slowly retreated, coming to Natsu's side.

Natsu: "..."

"Dreigon??"

Hydreigon glanced at Natsu during the pause.

Although Natsu couldn't fully understand the meaning of his words for now, the meaning in his eyes was clear. "This dude's a pain in the ass. Let's hit 'em from a different angle."

Natsu pursed his lips and said nothing.

Meloetta was already curled up in his arms, trembling like a leaf. "Oh, fuck me, what now?"

Although, Pokémon like Meloetta could control Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus to some extent, especially if there was an item called a "Visible Mirror."

But Thundurus's current state wasn't good, and Meloetta was too timid. Trying to restore Thundurus's sanity by just standing there clearly wasn't going to work.

Besides.

With Thundurus's character, just calming him down probably wouldn't make things much better than they were now. He'd probably just be a slightly less angry god.

"We need to get closer," Natsu mumbled.

Immediately, he shifted his gaze, landing on the figure of Mr. S, who was hiding behind Nidoking.

If he wanted to focus on dealing with Thundurus, he had to get rid of this son of a bitch first.

Otherwise, even if Nidoking was severely injured, if Mr. S pulled some shit from behind his back, it could still screw up the battle.

A man who tried to kill him the moment they met? Even if he had a sliver of strength to fight Thundurus, Natsu wouldn't trust him at all.

Even if he genuinely wanted to cooperate with him to fight Thundurus, it would still be incredibly annoying if he just bolted.

And from some knowledge of his previous actions, Natsu knew that this guy was just an arrogant prick, not a reckless idiot.

It was highly likely that he worked with various forces, and the existence of Tom Ritchie could not be ruled out.

At the very least.

Hunter O, who lived in Castelia City, as far as Natsu knew, had already made contact with Tom Ritchie's people.

So Natsu had no intention of going to Castelia at all. Fuck that.

The most important point.

Natsu's identity was no longer recognized by him. "He knows who I am. Fucking fantastic."

"Take him out!"

Natsu patted Hydreigon's neck.

Hydreigon turned and looked at Mr. S, and showed his fangs.

Dealing with Thundurus was a headache. But dealing with a human, along with his injured Pokémon? That was still considered pretty easy.

Hydreigon moved toward Mr. S quickly.

Mr. S, who understood Natsu's intentions, felt his heart sink. What he worried about most was still happening, and Natsu had decided to finish him off!

Seeing Hydreigon, who was incredibly fast, he knew he couldn't escape.

His heart was full of bitterness. "If I hadn't run into this lightning-flinging maniac first and had my Pokémon half-dead, even if this Hydreigon looked strong, it wouldn't be enough to threaten me at all!"

After leaving Mr. S to Hydreigon, Natsu's attention was fully focused on Thundurus.

"Legendary Pokémon."

This was the first time he had faced a Legendary Pokémon, a Legendary Pokémon that truly possessed priesthood.

Although not as terrifying as Groudon and Rayquaza, he was also not comparable to the Zapdos that Tom Ritchie had captured in Saffron City. This was a whole different league of badass.

"Dragapult, can you beat him?"

"Bartya?" Dragapult, who appeared, looked at him like he was an idiot.

Beat him?

Could a question like that even be asked?

"It's more like, how long can I last against him, right?"

Natsu jumped onto Dragapult's back, recalling Infernape and some of the smaller Pokémon, and releasing Oranguru.

Infernape, even though he had reached Gym Leader level, his help wasn't going to be significant enough here.

Oranguru and others, more or less, could still provide some assistance.

"Thundeeeer!"

Thundurus's attention was fixed on Dragapult.

In his view.

Aside from Meloetta, who wasn't much of a fighter, Dragapult was the only Pokémon that posed a slight threat to him.

Of course, feeling threatened didn't mean shit.

Dragapult also felt threatened by Hydreigon, but was she afraid of Hydreigon? Hell no.

Tzzzzzzz —

Terrifying thunder fell.

Dragapult, carrying Natsu, suddenly disappeared.

"Melo?" Meloetta in Natsu's arms slowly lifted her head from his arm, as if sensing something, and looked around hesitantly.

"Why does it seem like..."

"Melo !!"

Meloetta cried out for the first time, opening her mouth, and pointing all around as if the whole world had just been royally screwed up.

Distortion World!

"Meloo? "

'Why did you fucking go from Thundurus's territory to that Pokémon's territory?!'

Although she was a little scared to face the enraged Thundurus, being in Giratina's territory wasn't just fear, it was pure horror.

At least Thundurus could still listen to her singing. But this was Giratina they were talking about. The real goddamn deal.

Natsu also choked, he was also a little surprised and stared at Dragapult with a calm and composed face. "You sly bitch."

As if sensing Natsu's gaze, Dragapult tilted her head slightly, the corner of her mouth slightly lifted in a smirk.

It wasn't just the little ones making progress, apparently.

"You really mastered it?"

Although it wasn't for long, Dragapult took them away quickly.

But also because of this ability, she avoided the first wave of Thundurus's insane thunder and lightning baptism.

Dragapult unexpectedly reappeared, approaching Thundurus.

Giratina in the Distortion World felt the fluctuations in his own world.

Immediately he came to where Dragapult had just appeared.

Seeing the spatial fluctuations and residual breaths.

Giratina blinked his eyes twice. "What the actual fuck?"

"No, was that the bitch who hacked my move last time?"

"How did that hack even work?!"
