Hudson had no answer to Journee's question. He thought she might get angry for dragging her father, but she was laughing and replying to his questions. He didn't imagine this reaction from her. Now she rendered him speechless.
"I… I…" Hudson tried to speak.
"I don't know you are an idiot," smiled Journee.
"Excuse me!!" shouted Hudson and stood up in anger, letting the file on his lap fall.
Journee sniggered and lowered herself to pick up the papers for him. She then stood up and looked him directly in his eyes. "You know about our joint effort, CED. We are trying to bring down the Hall family, or are you not up-to-date? Visiting that hotel every night is my job. I go there for surveillance. The raid which we did on all the warehouses of the Hall family was because of that."
"I… I knew. I know," shouted Hudson.
