We descended down the rungs into a wide cavern. There was only one source of light which was at the bottom of the rungs.
"Welcome back boss."
A voice passed through the air, as we reached the base of the rungs.
A familiar face greeted me, but with slight differences to it.
Clyde, the hot-tempered guy who I never really talked with or understood, was now tall.
Maybe it was his genes or something else, but that guy had grown a lot in the time we had been apart.
He looked to be about a head or two smaller than Jonah, but he still had a long time to grow.
His hair had grown long like mine and had a scar over his right eye that was now covered by an eye patch.
His expression changed to one of concern as he saw Jonah and me.
"What wrong? I thought you were just going to get that guy, so why do you look so tired?"
"Don't worry, I just happened to meet a strong opponent and strained myself a little."
"Did you use that? You know that drains a lot of your stamina."
