Some of the Corpse Ghost Cavalry, influenced by Li Bai's Power of Word Spirit, no longer follow the General's orders, and ride off aimlessly.
Once their faith collapses, their bodies become unsustainable. Not far from leaving, their clay bodies collapse with a crash, flesh turning to powder as they fall off their warhorses, leaving only a skeleton. As their rider crumbles, so does the horse.
The remaining Corpse Ghost Cavalry, unaffected by the Power of Word Spirit, were already well-trained. Seeing the General dead had little impact on them, the highest-ranking Deputy General in the team rode forward to take on the General's duties.
