Vale then looked out the window. From his current position, he could see faint black threads writhing at the horizon with his Spirit Vision. There was no doubt about it, it was corrupted Divinity.
A part of him wanted to stay, return to his studies, and finish crafting the spell that had begun to take shape in his mind.
But another part—the part that had fought against the Demon Saints, and some of the Seven Deadly Sins—wanted to see what kind of Demons dared to attack a city like this.
