Chapter 87 - OHH THAT'S WHY YOU CAME UP WITH THIS PLAN

Khushi:(I smiled after hearing him.)

Mark:(I saw Abhi pull his car over to the side of the road. I didn't know why, but I parked my car too and stepped out.)

"I'll be back."

Khushi: "Hmm."

Mark:(I walked over to Abhi.)

"Where are you going?"

Abhi: "Uh... for coffee."

Mark: "Ooh, I'd love some too. Let's go together."

Abhi:(I ordered four cups of coffee. A few minutes later, the coffee arrived.)

Mark: "I'll pay."

Abhi: "No, it's fine. I've got it."

Mark: "No way. While I'm here, you don't pay. I insist."

(I paid for the coffee, and we walked back to the cars—Abhi carrying two cups and me holding the other two.)

Abhi:(I got back into the car and handed a cup of coffee to Ishana.)

"Here, have some coffee."

Ishana:(I had been sitting alone in the car, thinking… Should I just run away? I don't know what's going to happen at the hotel. But can I trust Abhi? Maybe… I don't know!

Then, Abhi returned and handed me a coffee.)

"Thanks."

Abhi: "My pleasure." (I started the car. We were now on our way to the hotel. I sipped my coffee as I drove.)

Ishana:(I took a sip... Wow, this is so good. Then I decided to just ask him directly.)

"You won't do it, right?"

Abhi:(I was driving when she suddenly asked something... strange. I didn't understand what she meant.)

"Huh??"

Ishana: "I meant that!"

Abhi: "That... what do you mean by that?"

Ishana:(Ugh, he didn't get it—and I didn't want to say the exact word. So awkward...)

"I mean... in the hotel."

Abhi: "Ohh... you meant that."

(I said it playfully, just to tease her.)

"Well... I can't guarantee anything."

Ishana: "What do you mean you can't guarantee?!"

Abhi: "Look, I'm a man... not a saint."

Ishana: "So what?! Can't you control yourself? You're a doctor—you should be able to control your feelings, right?"

Abhi: "Yeah, but… it doesn't work that way with you."

Ishana: "Why?"

Abhi: "Maybe... because I like you."

Ishana: "Still... you could at least try!"

Abhi: "Hmm..."

Ishana:(I glanced outside. The weather had changed. It looked like it was going to rain. A cool breeze was flowing through the air. I wanted to open the window—but since it wasn't my car and the AC was on, I needed to ask.)

"Abhi, can I open the window?"

Abhi: "Of course, why not? Let me do it for you."

(He reached over and pressed the button to open the window, then turned off the AC.)

Ishana:(As the window opened, the cold air brushed against my skin. I could feel it... fresh, clean, and so comforting. The scent of the soil hit me—it smelled so good. I wanted to get drenched in the rain.

My hair danced in the wind. It felt like all my worries were blown away with the breeze. No fear, no nervousness—just the moment. Just… this peaceful moment.

It had been so long since I felt this free.)

Abhi:(She seemed to really love the weather. Watching her enjoy it, her hair flying with the wind… it was such a beautiful sight. And seeing her happy made me happy too.)

Mark: "Here, have some coffee!"

Khushi: "Thanks, hubby."

Mark: "Wow, hubby all of a sudden? What do you want?"

Khushi: "Nothing! Can't I just call you that randomly?"

Mark: "Of course you can, sweetheart. But usually, when girls use sweet names like that, they want something... so I thought maybe you wanted me to buy you something."

Khushi: "No, you're already enough for me."

Mark: "Really?"

Khushi: "Yes. And look at the weather—it's so beautiful."

Mark: "Yeah."

Khushi: "How about we have dinner with Ishana and Abhi?"

Mark: "Hmm... wait. I didn't even think about dinner! Totally forgot we didn't eat before leaving...

But hey, who cares about food when a beautiful girl's in front of me?"

Khushi: "I care! I'm starving. I need food.

And I want to have dinner together—with Ishana and Abhi!"

Mark: "Ugh, fine. We'll have dinner. But not with those two. Let them be. We'll eat on our own."

Khushi: "No way! I want all four of us to eat together. That's final!"

Mark: "Okay, ma'am. As you wish."

(I called the hotel manager and asked him to arrange dinner for all four of us.)

"Happy now?"

Khushi: "Yes! But if we're going to the same hotel, then why aren't we in the same car?"

Mark: "Oh, don't even ask... You know what? When I was alone in the car with them, it was so awkward. They were acting distant and tense.

I kept trying to make them talk, but it always ended in some weird argument."

Khushi: "Ohh... so that's why you came up with this plan?"

Mark: "Hmm."
