He and Kibito stood with the others and Dende, with their securing the first, black star dragon ball, they stuck around to watch the proceedings… that of Lord Beerus the Destroyer himself. He eyed as the one named Whis had vanished from the ship, reappearing elsewhere he bet, Shin kept a narrowed gaze upon Goku and Beerus like the others, feeling their energies which easily surpassed his own strength.
'Return to the Sacred world of the Kai's Shin, your presence there is a danger to us all.' he heard his ancestor speak within his mind, a probing presence, Shin concentrated as he replied mentally.
'If you're sure. Would Beerus destroy them all though, they are good fighters and have helped me a lot against the evil of Majin Buu, I feel loath to abandon them to their fate if I could help it.' the elder Kai replied first with an annoyed huff.
'If you might concentrate harder, you would know that Lord Beerus is actually- in a twisted or should I say, practical way, teaching Goku to control that divinity he's now unlocked, to do that though in this way… Beerus must be training him for at least a more suited opponent. Though it would matter not in the end for Lord Beerus is a destroyer and his power greatly eclipses even that pitiful self-styled god Darkness, let alone most every other fighter on that planet. Kron though has the power to at least challenge him for a time, honestly, they would have had a better chance in beating Lord Beerus if Kron was the recipient for that transformation into a god. Both a mutant Saiyan, whose skill with using transformations in tandem would have greatly benefited. Oh, I suppose Goku was a far more trusting choice to make, he at least with the power of a god… he is rather straight forward. Who knows what someone like Kron, Vegeta or Goku's brother would do with such a power…' the Elder Kai trailed on, Shin listened for he had no choice, his ancestor had made a point about the power being better served Goku, though he also trusted that Kron and Vegeta had changed into better people thanks to having families.
'Venerable ancestor, I'll stay here. I want to assist with finding those black star dragon balls, they are a crisis that could destroy our allies home world. Once they have been gathered back together, I think I'll seal these ones away or ask if Dende has the power to undo the binding magics and destroy them, they are a flawed design. I could be a greater help here than idling away on the sacred world of the Kai's. Perhaps I'll even ask to use the earthling's facilities, they are rather ingenious to be able to propel a fighter's strength higher through the use of such machinery…' An intriguing idea… Shin had been watching Goku go at it and while he was rather reserved by nature, seeing someone as powerful as Lord Beerus ignited something within him, to adapt and change and become far greater than before, power wise. Living a long time, he was already wise and would use the power he believed he could gain in a short amount of time in a correct manner-
-Goku and Beerus renewed their engagement of fierce combat, his eyes danced from one place to another with speed, the tracking of the two of them was child splay for him after all. Now Beerus turned Goku from a fighter into his punching bag, getting a good grip on Goku, Beerus ignited the Saiyan with golden energy which upon reaction with Goku detonated him.
(Goku-POV)
He'd been filled with Lord Beerus's energy, upon reacting with his body the energy exploded around him, though each time he was to descend forcefully from such an explosion, Goku felt Beerus grab him once again and repeated a few more times. Goku was about to try the 'Kaio-Ken', to have it activated at the same time as this new form, though he thought better of it because this transformation was still an unknown to him and he was still getting a handle of his own power while under its effects.
He screamed in pain, his throat raw from the shouting and finally he found impact with the ground to be better than being under Beerus paralyzing impacts made upon his body. Though his ears picked up a hum… he figured it sounded annoyed, but Beerus actually sounded bored. Goku couldn't see, the impact with the ground once more, his second time making such an impact had obscured his position, but Beerus wasn't one for hiding himself out of fear.
He was winning after all, Goku winced from the pain but activated 'Kaio-Ken' times two very briefly, getting him to his feet with the 'added' energy, he maneuvered but found himself blocked by an appearing Lord Beerus, interest somewhat peaked.
"...You've gotten a hang of this Super Saiyan God… a moment longer and you would have become a smear on the ground here, your ashes scattered all over this little island like sand. Whatever that ability is, it would have crippled you should you have used it against me for a moment longer than you did. I guess it can't be helped, you're in need of power to even grasp an unobtainable level to match me, though it would have done you good in catching up… that little power up would have been fleeting at best. No, you'd better show me what you've really got Super Saiyan god, your skill is there but the power…" Beerus kicked him, Goku tried to deflect the blow to the ground with a well-placed block but the god of destruction easily maneuvered another blow with the same kick, retracting and once more kicking at an untraceable speed, socking him in the guts.
Goku coughed from the blow, Beerus flickered upwards of him and landed upon his body, sending him downwards to land on his back, landing on him which caused a mass amount of pain to his body… rattling him to his core. Beerus stood over him, his gaze unwavering while Goku tried to match his gaze, one eye closed due to sweat getting into it, he also had to move his head somewhat to not get the sun in his good eye. Lord Beerus then sat on him, pushing Goku back down onto the dirt within the crater, Goku felt spittle fly onto him from Beerus as he shouted.
"You're still boring me, heck… I could fall asleep at any moment from this feeling." Beerus then begun to punch at him, in the last minute or because Beerus was feeling uh, somewhat lenient, Goku was able to block the blows at the cost of his arms becoming literally shattered, his joints begun to hurt after every blow and Goku also felt himself sink even lower into the ground, rock and dirt digging into his sides and back- the rocks adding even more pain in which he felt.
"You bore me! Gosh, what a waste of my sleeping time! You! You were supposed to be a rival; someone I could fight and use a reasonable amount of my power. But no, your just like the rest, like everyone else who put me to sleep! I thought you guys were supposed to be tough, gosh darn… is a little bit of excitement too much to ask for-"Goku found himself, powering up once again, his arms were numb, so he used his head… literally.
"-L-Like t-this!" Goku shouted in reply, interrupted Beerus and then himself from the hard-hitting blow of his head upon Beerus's head, catching the god off guard by the surprisingly uh, dumb hit… Goku could have laughed, instead… he used his half numb limbs and retaliated in kind with as much force as he could readily supply to his arms, engulfing them in his own Ki to enhance the blows, something he picked up by Raven and Pyrrha.
Goku followed this along by flickering to the top of where Beerus was, slamming the heels of his feet in two kicks to the back of his head, swing around by holding onto his long ears and then kneeing him in the face, making sure to forcefully aim Beerus head into the path of his knees, the blows also somewhat rattled his own body for the god of destruction has a hard head… hehe, like him-
"-What are you laughing about you little- W-Why You-" Goku, now having feeling in his arms launching an explosive volley of punches into Beerus's face, body and his arms, an attack which lasted a whole lot of five seconds before Goku was repelled back when Beerus shouted in anger and pain both.
"Is this what you wanted L-Lord Beerus!" Goku continued to land blow after blow in the allotted time he had managed to gain for himself, while a dazed Beerus snapped out of it, retaliating with a much louder shout, in which Goku felt a force of explosive air impeded his movement towards where Beerus stood, the force expunging air ripped up an entire new hole around them, erasing the crater made by Goku upon impact before, some of the debris now floating around them.
"...Yeah… that is it… you bastard. You've been holding out on me huh? A cheap shot… really? Well, you do you I suppose… Saiyan 'God'." he reached for his head, but it was his eyes… Goku prepared himself for the inevitable counterattack which should come at any moment.
"You know… how should I- this level of power you're still giving me… It DOESN"T HAVE ANY EFFECT ON ME AT ALL!" Goku blinked in surprise, that he would shout at him… Goku even felt the spittle reach his cheeks in disgust.
(Kron-POV)
Orin was put down to rest when myself and Zangya arrived, William the little tyke was also asleep though I found that Jaina, Ursula and Wylla were home. They must have left, heck, most of my kids were brought here who were not capable of looking after themselves. Trunks, Achilles and Anthony weren't present, though there were in the direction of the fight, watching.
'I just need Either Trunks and one of the twins, or both of the twins. Heh, I could replicate what happened to Goku in an instant.' though I thought it wiser to at least try to reach that new transformation before trying that, I've only just arrived back at our home, within one of the private mansion-sized Capsule domes making up the greater part of the Briefs old home, where their laboratory used to be. It was since outfitted with extra-large domed homes and expanded, Bulma easily buying more land from the city for big bucks, she also permitted to expand deeper underground to house the newer personal family laboratory, which her and her father spent more time than any other place to do their research or engineering.
Of course, all my wife's and in Zangya's case, my mate all had their own personal domiciles the size of small mansions in dome-shapes to which they lived, Capsule Corp was like a campus with which I would stay the night at one or all of them through the use of clones, every night. As it wasn't a harem in the sense that the ladies were kissing one another as well as me, the relationship was more for them, myself and 'them', while I was with them all, so no orgies which in my age, I wasn't or hadn't ever pushed for in order for them to be comfortable. I'd find it weird as well, being looked at with my dick in one of them while their gaze would be on my every move-
"-Alright! Capsules are ready… I need to start packing for the trip to secure the black star dragon balls. If all goes well, Though I really want to watch that fight…" my clone was there so, I was looking forward to remembering it all once it dispelled.
"Right, now who was going with me again…" I thought on it quickly, today was such quickly escalating day, from Bulma's forty fifth birthday (She still claims she's younger…)
'So, Pyrrha and Yamcha… Yamcha? Of all people, why- no, he is decent in power and has already been in a scavenger hunt for the dragon balls multiple times, he's experienced at least. Raditz… he chose Sixteen and Zangya then…
Goku's Ki signature was still lost to me, though I did witness from afar a collective of explosions continuing into the air, until the explosions reached out into space. One of my clones was there so I was looking forward to the replay.
"-Hmm, both of them have dispelled then? I seem to recall both wanting me to go ahead and unlock this new form, while the other wants me to become a 'Super Saiyan God' like Goku is. I also recalled the fight so far between Goku and Beerus, still ongoing and the conclusion still up in the air between the two.
"Alright you three, I'm going to the lookout, this fight shouldn't be over in an hour. Maybe." I planned to spend one hour's worth within and work on getting stronger, honing my Ki and perhaps tapping into that new transformation of which I already had a name for. Jaina, Ursula and Salem looked towards me, Salem replying.
"Well, I've stuck those two to sleep just ten minutes prior to your arrival, if your to do what your kind call training, I'd much prefer you do so away from here." Jaina added, Ursula grunting while I only got the back side of Wylla, who was already dismissing me as she looked ready to head out to go shopping with the other two.
"I'll tell mom then, say you're going to train like the meathead you act like. Bye father. That fight is still ongoing… I'm worried that we're not going to survive that Beerus guy, your friend Goku is powerful, but shouldn't you like, go help him?" I nodded, meeting their stare down, Wylla turning to Salem and they spoke amongst themselves quietly.
"Yeah, though I need to test something. Also, I'm going to need your help in say… half an hour. Ursula, did you want to go shopping with your sisters, or did you want to train with your old man. I'm planning on heading inside the Hyperbolic time chamber-"
"-Nah, I don't want to suddenly become older dad, you do you yeah, I can train within my gravity chamber after me and them finish up in the city. If there's a city left after those two finish their fight. How long are you going to be gone?"
"Half an hour, I plan on spending just half a year inside, so half an hour outside. Ok, I'd better head on over, Mr. Popo should have the place ready or capable of being readied for me… Alright, love you my wives... Salem." I sent the ancient lady a nod to which she only waved me off, her concern for me was worn on her still young-looking regal face. Blasting off, I sensed for Dende and found him in the direction of the others watching the fight, so I concentrated… on Yajirobe, before instantaneously disappearing and reappearing in front of the rotund sword wielder, freaking him out.
'Yeah… I'm close to obtaining…'Super Saiyan Five' I just know I just need one more power spike, it should work…'
(Vegeta-POV)
Beerus- Lord Beerus bounced Kakarot higher and higher into the air from the island they were fighting on, he Piccolo and Zangya followed by closely compared to the others, the two clones of Kron's were also watching separately from them, one aboard that modular-designed ship of Bulma's and one with them.
Though both clones had dispelled a little while after they were here, he sensed them both before where they were, now his full concentration was on the fight, Vegeta also by sensing for those clones, also sensed their original-
"-T-That… that sneaky-" he gasped out loudly. Piccolo, Zangya and Raditz all looked at him, Vegeta paused himself from speaking out of turn, Zangya here was glancing at him with the others and he didn't want to anger her, being yelled out by Raven was enough!
"-Never mind me, watch them. I've got to not allow that guy to continue to eclipse me!" he vanished, concentrating on Kron's Ki, using that 'Instant Transmission' technique, the fight between Kakarot and Lord Beerus in the back of his mind, for Kakarot was beyond him now, Kron on the other hand… He would serve as an excellent punching bag, if he can eclipse the overwhelming legendary power he has, it would start by training in that intense environment. Kron would make an excellent opponent.
"You- I'm going in there with you; you're not going to outpace me!" Kron regarded him with a raised eyebrow.
"Heh, sure… I could use someone to push me to my limits and beyond them, I guess that's the same for you yeah. More for you, heh, I'm sure. Mr. Popo, you're ready yeah?" Vegeta regarded the help of this lookout with urgency; he wanted to start as soon as possible.
"Yes… I'm always ready for anyone wishing to use the room, one or two- I have enough provisions for you inside for the maximum four years within. Four days on this side. How many, may I ask, are you to spend within?" Kron spoke, chuckling towards Vegeta, turning back to Mr. Popo.
"I don't want to spend much time inside, just enough for half an hour worth's of time on the outside, encase I am needed in the fight ongoing currently. So that is-" Mr. Popo mused loudly, in thought for a moment but replied a few seconds after.
"I'll set the room for seven and a half days then, you'll be notified via the left hourglass. Allow me to quickly set it up and you can go inside. Hang back for but a moment…" Mr. Popo then left quickly on his magic carpet, which appeared underneath him in an instant. Vegeta and Kron stood around in silence, watching the battle from the lookout, Vegeta speaking up with folded arms.
"Oi, Kron… which one of them do you think will win this fight? If Beerus wins, I'd say he would destroy the planet, my father is here, and he has angered him in the past. The Oath… He would definitely kill him either way I think. That guy… father, there would be no stopping Beerus if he wanted to do it. Not by that weakling at least…" Vegeta grimaced, though his eyes narrowed soon after. He was king now, his father was just a reminder of his weakness, a king who bowed to Frieza… the Frieza who took him, kill his father and then killed a huge majority of their race… Most of them, majority of the Saiyan's who ended up in hell who have returned to live we're his business now, not his fathers.
Mr. Popo came outside the room, he nodded towards them whilst indicating they enter through the door with a handheld, beckoning them inside, Kron and he approached. Kron replied as soon as they stepped through the door, it closed behind them.
"That doesn't matter now, let's start training now. We're not going to be long, and we should prioritize what we should be doing before beginning. You ready Vegeta." Vegeta nodded, they stood inside the main chamber where they would stay, though they stepped through soon after out into the vast expanse of white.
