Chapter 115 - 4.27

By placing the Force Seed within the dragon's body, I had also gotten a quick scan of its anatomy, and so I had placed my strike right where I knew there wouldn't be any bones to stop my blade.

That's why my blade easily sliced through the shoulder of the dragon, severing an entire wing.

The dragon roared in pain as it started free falling towards the ground, while I stabilized myself in the sky as I watched the dragon fall.

It crashed into the newer fortifications, killing a couple of unfortunate guards. But it wasn't over for it as the ground below it could not resist the impact, and crumbled, taking the dragon with it for another, bigger fall onto the sharp glaciers below.

As a small part of the city fell alongside the dragon, the entire city shook from the impact, yet I could feel the dragon's presence still stood strong below.

Lowering myself to the ground next to Sarah, she quickly wiped my cheek, her hand red with blood as she said, "That looked like that hurt."

I shrugged, replying, "I've had worse. Time to finish it."

Sarah did not try to stop me, but mouthed silently, "Be careful."

I smiled, and ignoring the approaching mages jumped down into the hole created by the dragon's fall.

Coating my fists in more Cursed Energy, which honestly felt boundless, I saw the dragon raise its head from all the ruble, roaring in anger and pain, only for me to land fists first on its snout.

The Fists of Randagulf clashed against the teeth of the dragon, and those teeth broke first as the dragon was forced back down as I crashed into it.

My whole arms felt numb from the attack, which wasn't the smartest way to attack, but it was fun, so fuck it.

Leaving Shiroishi within its sheath, I could feel the Force Feed within the dragon once again as we were in contact with each other, and I could feel how much of the dragon's energy it was absorbing.

The technique was not yet finished in my opinion, as it only allowed me to absorb lifeforce, and in the long run that would only result in another discrepancy between my energies. That's why I wanted to improve it to absorb both Spiritual and Physical energy.

For now though, it was only lifeforce, but it should it do it.

Opening the Second Genetic Constraint, I felt my control over my body drastically increase, and put all of my power behind my fists as I pummeled the dragon under me, using the rubble to my advantage as it was immobilized.

I was also practicing my Cursed Energy control as I tried to lower the lapse of time between the time I struck with my fist and my Cursed Energy struck. The closer the two were, the stronger the impact would be, with the peak being Black Flash.

Unfortunately, despite my perfect control over my body, I couldn't control my Cursed Energy so well, so I did not manage to even come close to triggering a Black Flash before the dragon managed to clear away the rubble blocking it, and forced me to back away.

"FUS ROH DAH!"

Having seen what the shout could do to people when used by a human like Ulfric Stormcloak in my second mission, I did not tempt fate as I immediately dodged, allowing the dragon to send the rubble flying off of it.

Once again free, the dragon looked at me with fire in its eyes, yet did not attack right away as it asked, "Who are you, Joor?"

Vivid red blood dripped in between the dragon's scales, showing that despite its innate resistance to both physical and magical damage, it had still been impacted by my punches.

Sensing I still had some time with my Second Genetic Constraint, I replied, "My name is Alexander."

The dragon snorted dark fumes, "I am Maarbrom. It is customary for dragons to greet one another."

"I am no dragon."

"Yet you are a worthy opponent. Feel my voice, Alexander! TIID KLO UL!"

I suddenly felt a sense of danger as the world around me seemed to turn sluggish, slowing everything down, except for Maarbrom who ran at me. To the naked eye, he had only gotten a huge boost in speed, but I could feel through the Force that he had actually slowed down time.

Punching forward, I used a Force Push, momentarily forcing Maarbrom to a stop as it, or rather he, took it face first.

Knowing I wasn't going to win a physical bout with the current circumstances, I jumped out of reach, which prompted Maarbrom to open his mouth, "IIZ SLEN NUS!"

The shout reached me before I could move out of the way as I suddenly found myself trapped in a block of ice. Contrarily to what the dragon thought however, I could still fly while trapped in the ice. That did not mean I was going to just stay like that however as I felt the chill of the ice penetrate deep within my body, draining me.

'Almighty Push!'

The ice was sent flying all around myself, some of which harmlessly slammed into Maarbrom, while I found myself free once again.

Size matters not.

Strength matters not.

Speed matters not.

The Force permeates everything.

And the Force obeys me.

Raising both of my hands, all the rubble caused by Maarbrom's earlier fall rose up to form a giant ball made of ice and stone, and quickly became larger than the dragon itself.

At the same time, the slow time shout wore off as the world returned to its normal pace. Maarbrom tried to stop me, obviously feeling the threat of the attack I was preparing, but before it could do so a thick bolt of lightning landed on top of his head, forcing his mouth shut and cutting off the shout.

The mages from the college were standing all the way up in the city, but the Storm Monarch was slowly floating down from the sky, raining lightning upon the dragon.

With one wing missing, Maarbrom could not escape either, and was forced to take care of the Storm Monarch, which was protecting me now.

As powerful as the Storm Monarch was, it did not stand a chance against a dragon, even one as injured as Maarbrom, and in a matter of seconds was forced back to Oblivion.

It had served its purpose however as the giant meteorite was finished.

Well, I suppose that since I named one attack after Pain already, I might do the same for this one.

"Planetary Devastation."

I couldn't help but smile under my mask as I dropped the meteorite upon Maarbrom, satisfying my inner nerd.

"FUS ROH DAH!"

Maarbrom tried to stop it with the most famous shout in Skyrim, but even the Unrelenting Force was not enough to stop the meteorite as it crashed into Maarbrom.

The explosion was deafening as the entire mountainside upon which Winterhold rested shook, and for a moment I feared I had been a little too heavy handed and might have caused the city's destruction, but thankfully after a few seconds the shaking stopped, with only an avalanche coming down from the top of the mountain.

Compared to the crumbling of the city this was much better however as a green light came from one of the mages above, and a large part of the mountain suddenly grew out, forming a giant platform above the city.

It did not stop the avalanche, but deviated the snow to pass by the city, going right above it to fall on us.

Flying back, I watched as the avalanche fell down on top of the remains of the meteorite, further burying Maarbrom.
