"Mr. Arthur, many people have reported this problem to us, and we are considering it!"
Coulson chuckled.
"Did you come to the door today for something?"
Arthur asked with an air of nobility.
But Arthur wondered who was the one who threatened to kill people without giving a billion dollars last night?
"Mr. Arthur, why don't you invite us in first?"
Coulson suggested.
"Look at my memory!"
Arthur quickly led the two into the house.
Coulson opened the black suitcase he was carrying and solemnly revealed its contents, layer by layer, like a nesting doll.
Finally, he presented a black card wrapped in expensive silk. It was engraved with faint golden patterns.
"Mr. Arthur, this is a promise to give you one billion US dollars, all of which are stored in this card. This is the black card of **** bank. It is a prestigious black gold card that is only available when the first deposit reaches 100 million US dollars!"
Coulson explained, handing the card to Arthur respectfully.
Arthur carefully examined the unique card.
"Very well, I am very satisfied with your attitude!" he remarked.
"Mr. Arthur is satisfied!"
Natasha added, wearing a gentle smile.
"Mr. Arthur, last night you used your superpowers to heroically defeat two monsters and save a street. You are a well-deserved hero!"
Natasha flattered Arthur.
"We are an organization dedicated to maintaining global security. Because of the needs of our work, we would like to know something about you. Can you oblige?" Coulson asked.
"Of course, it's necessary for work!"
Arthur replied nonchalantly.
Natasha took out paper, pens, and even a voice recorder to gather information about Arthur.
"After we understand the situation, we need to go back and compile a report. I hope you don't mind," Natasha explained.
"Mr. Arthur, I would like to ask when your superpower first appeared?" Natasha inquired.
"I've had superpowers since I was eight or nine years old, but I've been hiding them," Arthur began to fabricate.
Natasha diligently recorded his response.
"I don't know if I can find out how many superpowers you have. From the battle video last night, you displayed more than seven types of superpowers! Originally, we thought your powers were similar to those of Superman in the comics, but the control you exhibited later and the energy wave emitted from your palm completely shattered our assumptions!"
"I don't know much about it! I just used them casually. There are probably more than 50 types!" Arthur boasted.
After hearing this answer, Natasha and Coulson exchanged glances and continued to document the details.
"Mr. Arthur, why did you appear on that street last night? No surveillance equipment captured your figure. It seemed like you appeared out of thin air," Natasha questioned.
"Actually, I was flying in the sky, but I was flying too fast, so the cameras couldn't capture it!"
Arthur continued with his nonsensical answers.
"Mr. Arthur, have you ever understood the source of your superpower?" Coulson inquired.
"Not very clear. I suddenly awakened when I was eight years old, but in order to live an ordinary life, I kept it hidden. However, when I saw those two monsters destroying the city on that street yesterday, the sense of justice in my heart couldn't let me ignore it, so I flew down and defeated them!"
Arthur explained, trying to maintain his facade.
Natasha and Coulson looked speechless. A sense of justice? Wasn't it Arthur who threatened the army last night, beat up General Ross, and extorted a billion dollars from them? Was this his idea of justice?
"Mr. Arthur are you familiar with mutants?" Natasha asked.
"I know! I also know about the X-Men! But don't think I'm a mutant!" Arthur replied strangely.
"Although we don't discriminate against mutants, I am not a mutant!" he added.
"Ah! Then we may have misunderstood!" Coulson acknowledged.
"By the way, I want to know what happened to the big green fat man I trapped in the 'Earth Explosion Star' and threw into the suburbs!" Arthur suddenly asked.
"Earth Explosion Star?" Natasha and Coulson were puzzled.
"That's what I named that move!" Arthur clarified.
"So it is! According to our information, after you threw it to the outskirts, it angrily smashed several hills and then disappeared!"
"It obviously transformed back into Bruce Banner!"
Arthur complained silently, but he didn't care. Both parties were speaking nonsense, so it was a matter of who could fool whom.
At this moment, S.H.I.E.L.D. was infiltrated by Hydra and transformed into Snake Shield. Bao Buqi would suddenly attack Arthur, knock him out, transport him back to the laboratory, study his genes, and begin cloning.
But Arthur had only one response - kill!
Regardless of how many people came, he would kill them. In this world, Arthur had nothing to worry about, so he decided to play along. Otherwise, life would be too boring!
A few more questions were asked before the conversation ended.
"Mr. Arthur, do you realize that your current situation is very dangerous?"
Natasha asked with a serious tone.
"There are many forces keeping an eye on you now, and they all want to obtain your superpowers!"
"Then let them come. I want to see who is powerful enough!"
Arthur responded casually.
"Although you are incredibly powerful, they have no scruples when dealing with enemies. Even if you are stronger than them, you may fall into their plots!"
"What are you trying to say?"
"We want to invite you to join our organization. After you join, the forces behind us will deal with those people for you!"
Natasha tried to convey that she was doing her best for Arthur.
"Not necessary!"
Arthur ruthlessly refused.
"Mr. Arthur, take some time to think about it. Our organization offers generous benefits..."
Coulson attempted to intervene.
An annual salary of tens of millions, working only two hours a day, four days a week, and various benefits. (I would work until I die, I love the company!)
"Not interested! I already have a billion dollars, and I have no need for luxury goods. This billion dollars is enough for me to live comfortably for a long time! If that's the case, why should I bother working?" Arthur replied firmly.
"This... Mr. Arthur, don't you want to find the meaning of your life? You possess such incredible power, comparable to that of a god. Don't you want to make contributions to humanity and society, and become a hero?"
Coulson persistently tried to persuade Arthur.
"A hero for the sake of interest?"
