When the envoy of the Snow Goddess boarded the floating ship, led by the red dragon Crester, the fleet took to the sky, bringing these humans, who acted like country bumpkins, into the airspace of Synapse.
A dreamlike Synapse appeared before them, leaving them gaping. Especially after entering an invisible barrier, the unique cold of the Deprosen subcontinent was completely blocked, and the temperature became comfortable. These humans, dressed in winter clothes, removed their garments in amazement, sweating profusely.
One after another, cloud islands, perfectly combining nature and architecture, appeared before their eyes, offering a visual feast. One might even call it a spiritual baptism.
Among the cloud islands of varying heights, silver waterfalls cascaded from the sky, sparkling as they splashed down. Powerful cloud giants patrolled the islands with unbelievably large griffins, multicolored dragons flew freely in the sky, and thunderous giants rode giant birds with wingspans of over a hundred meters, casting vast shadows below.
Everything they saw left the humans utterly stunned. It was a scene they had never seen or even imagined before. Synapse appeared like a divine kingdom, majestic, sacred, and vast.
Finally, under the guidance of the red dragon Crester, the humans nervously entered the Wind King's Castle on the central cloud island. Most were stopped by the cloud giants guarding the castle, and only one principal envoy and two deputies met Muria, who sat on the throne.
The head of the envoy, Trevor, respectfully knelt and presented the offerings prepared by their goddess to Muria.
"This doctrine looks familiar!" Muria remarked, flipping through the metal book with an amused look in his eyes. "I seem to have seen similar content in the doctrines of other gods. Are you plagiarizing?"
"The time was too tight, so we referenced some other theological materials. Please forgive us. This doctrine will continue to be revised," Trevor was terrified by Muria's words, sweating profusely. "Do you think this doctrine meets your requirements?"
"If the outline is based on this, it's quite good. I can consider cooperating with your goddess," Muria nodded. The rewritten doctrine by this goddess was directly plagiarized from the powerful good and orderly gods, pieced together into the doctrine Muria now saw.
This goddess had quite the idea. If she preached according to this doctrine, her current thoughts and ideas would be completely distorted. Her current personality would be utterly obliterated, and she would be like a different god in the future, completely abandoning herself just to maintain her existence. Muria did not comment on this.
"It still needs further revisions to be more perfect," Muria said seriously. "And just one doctrine is not enough. I need to see her actions. The Winter Goddess must prove with her actions that she is no longer an evil god! Only then will I cooperate with her."
"This..." Trevor hesitated.
"You don't need to promise me anything. Just relay my words," Muria found the three humans below amusing, so he revealed more information. "Your goddess has plenty of time. Don't worry! In a year and a half, I will undertake an action, during which I will rule a kingdom, a kingdom entirely of humans."
Muria revealed significant news, which was shocking to these humans because there was only one kingdom in the entire Deprosen subcontinent, a country established by united silver dragons. The silver dragons were the noblest beings in this kingdom.
To these Deprosen humans, a kingdom was incredibly distant. Yet the being before them claimed he would possess a kingdom. Even if it seemed unbelievable, they did not dare to question it because they had already witnessed his power.
Those mighty giants were loyal to him, unruly evil dragons patrolled for him, and even goddesses had to humble themselves to cooperate with him, completely abandoning divine dignity.
"You may leave!" Muria issued the order to leave, having discussed everything. "If you find Synapse interesting, you can stay here for a few days."
"Then we will take our leave," Trevor bowed and then exchanged a glance with his male deputy. The two of them together dragged out Rosanna, who had stars in her eyes.
"Muria, your charm is quite significant now!" After the humans left, a flame appeared beside Muria, and Mikaela's figure slowly emerged.
"Mika, you can make such jokes now," Muria was stunned for a moment, then laughed.
"It's obvious. That human woman wants to mate with you," the seraph said plainly, uttering words that would make an ordinary human woman blush.
"Ahem," Muria coughed, "I didn't notice. I don't even remember what that human woman looked like."
"Oh." Mikaela nodded expressionlessly, thennaturally changed the subject, "Is it really okay to cooperate with an evil god?"
She appeared thoughtful. Under Muria's deliberate intervention, Mikaela had started managing some affairs. She already had a floating city and commanded millions, if not tens of millions, of angels. This was just a matter of time, and all of it needed her own management.
"Look at this doctrine!" Muria handed the metal book to Mikaela.
"A hodgepodge of pieces," Mikaela flipped through it and shook her head. "What's this? Give me time, and I can come up with something similar."
"That's why I need to see her actions. This alone isn't enough. She doesn't need to be a good god, just a neutral and orderly god."
"Her intentions might not be that simple."
"I know," Muria said indifferently. "She wants to use my power to break free from the Storm Lord Talos, who has been siphoning her strength."
"You know, and you still agreed?" Mikaela was puzzled.
"Why not agree? If she truly breaks free from that being, then to avoid the vengeful Storm Lord's revenge, she must depend on me more tightly, obey my orders, and do everything to please me. It's her only choice."
"So you've calculated everything?" The seraph was a bit surprised. This wasn't the Muria she knew.
"I just went with the flow. I don't like scheming. It's too troublesome," Muria said with self-awareness. If fists could solve problems, he would always choose fists. Thinking too much was tiring. Unfortunately, not all problems could be solved with fists.
