Chapter 671 - Chapter 671: Fists are the Only Shortcut to Solving Problems

"Your Highness, don't make a mistake!" warned a cardinal archbishop, seeing that Muria was about to act. They didn't want to provoke Muria, but they wouldn't yield on matters of faith.

"Don't make a mistake? That's my line," Muria thought, his patience at its limit. Strength was indeed the only shortcut to solving problems; showing these people his power was the only way to make them sit down and negotiate.

The massive golden dragon extended its claw toward the ten cardinal archbishops, accompanied by a sky full of thunder. The archbishops, tiny in comparison, conjured ten glowing barriers, each imbued with a sacred aura, in front of Muria's claw.

Muria's expression didn't change as he pressed down, breaking through the first and then the second layer. However, his strength was stopped by the seventh layer, and new barriers formed behind it. It seemed these archbishops had an endless supply of divine spells.

"Your Highness, are you sure you want to oppose us? We really don't want a conflict."

"Not oppose, just to make you think clearly and negotiate properly," Muria replied. They didn't want a conflict, nor did Muria, but there was a fundamental conflict of interest between them.

"Dragon, step aside! Archbishops, don't worry, we're coming to help!" shouted the remaining northern legends as they launched their attacks, though their voices arrived before their actions.

"Insects, get lost! Don't interfere," Muria snapped. A crimson-gold glow formed in his mouth, rapidly expanding, and he aimed it at the approaching northern dukes.

Boom! The space trembled, and the nearest legends felt their bodies shudder. A crimson-gold beam shot from Muria's mouth, piercing the sky and making the already dim sky seem even darker in contrast.

The dragon's roar cannon instantly incapacitated three northern legends. Their bodies and armor were vaporized in an instant, reduced to molten metal.

This terrifying display of power caused the northern legends to hesitate, and as they did, Claudia led her ancient white dragons and Muria's legends into battle against them.

Seeing Muria's reluctance to escalate the conflict further, Claudia did not use her White Dragon Legion, which could have overwhelmed half the northern forces alone.

Muria's dragon roar cannon was so powerful that the cardinal archbishops, initially hesitant, decided they could not allow such a threat to remain.

"Holy Smite!"

"Hammer of Heaven!"

"Radiant Barrier!"

Powerful divine spells struck Muria, who met their attacks without fear. His long, powerful tail swept aside the hammer of light, and his massive claw smashed through another holy barrier.

The archbishops' attacks did little more than make Muria feel slightly numb, while they had to be extremely cautious in facing his counterattacks.

"You can't defeat me. Surrender, and I'll only beat you up a little," Muria declared, hovering in the air. Lightning and fire spread from his body, forming a domain.

Muria, having fought many powerful beings, especially his uncle, had long considered forming a domain. After battling the Dragon Hunter's avatar, he had gained new insights and created his own Lightning and Fire Tempest Hell.

Lightning, fire, and storms filled the domain, suppressing anyone but Muria himself. The archbishops struggled to withstand the attacks from all directions.

With a swipe of his claw, Muria shattered the nine-layer holy barrier of an archbishop beside him, sending him crashing to the ground and raising a small mushroom cloud.

One by one, the archbishops were knocked out of the domain, only to be dragged back in by long chains that emerged from the domain's edge, regardless of their struggles.

Muria continued this cycle, beating the archbishops back into the domain, then out again, and back in. The archbishops, though legendary, were starting to feel the strain, their regenerative abilities nearing their limits.

"Your Highness, please stop!" Finally, an elderly archbishop, unable to bear it any longer, pleaded for mercy. This repeated battering against the ground felt like a death sentence.

"Now, can we have a proper discussion?" Muria asked, his massive dragon head lowered, looking at the ten archbishops he had lined up before him.

"The gods will never allow a white dragon to rule the northern humans. Such a thing hasn't happened for hundreds of thousands of years," one archbishop replied.

"Are you suggesting I kill all the northern humans? There are many intelligent species that could replace them, but that wouldn't be good, right?" Muria asked, feigning confusion.
