Joshua Sulliven's gaze fell on the dinner plate, yet he didn't reach out to take it, instead, he followed Keira Leaf to the tea table.
Keira Leaf placed the ceramic bowl on the tea table, seemingly hot to the touch as she couldn't help but touch her earlobes, then she moved the bowl in front of Joshua Sulliven.
In the bowl was a pot of porridge made with snowy fungus, longan, red dates, red beans, and more.
It sounded somewhat like eight treasures porridge, but perhaps because the color was so light, it didn't look the part, Joshua Sulliven guessed that these ingredients must have been carefully selected, cut, and simmered by her.
After moving it over, Keira Leaf then sat back on the sofa, continuing to watch TV with focus.
Joshua Sulliven looked up at her; the multicolored lighting reflected from the TV shone on her face, particularly brilliant, and under the steaming mist, inexplicably warm.
