She must have drunk too much, so after getting into the car, Jane Sampson didn't create a fuss. Instead, she sat quietly but her eyes were fixated on James Black the whole time.
"If you feel uncomfortable, just lie down and sleep for a while," James Black suggested to Jane Sampson while waiting for the traffic light, even reaching out to pat her on the head.
What he was actually more worried about was how Jane Sampson's body would handle being in the cold air, sitting on the car top, after having had so much to drink.
"I'm not drunk," Jane Sampson muttered discontentedly and slapped the back of James Black's hand with a smack.
James Black chuckled.
Feisty, and claiming she's not drunk.
"I'm really not drunk. Have you ever seen a drunkard who knows to wait for you to drive them home?" Jane Sampson pouted a little as she defended herself unhappily, "I'm not drunk, so I know not to drive after drinking."
