Amelia Charlie and Violet Taylor both looked towards Maxwell Hughes.
It was somewhat embarrassing to ask him to take the lead in such matters.
But thinking it over, conversations between men might be more effective.
So Amelia Charlie nodded: "Okay, Maxwell, you go."
Maxwell Hughes glanced at Violet Taylor, and seeing her nod as well, he then entered the hospital room.
Inside, Mr. Taylor was extremely weak from a stomach pump and was leaning on the bed, tears flowing.
Hearing footsteps, he said, "I told you, I'm not going back home. I'll just stay in the hospital. Just let someone like me die..."
Maxwell Hughes paused before saying, "Father-in-law, it's me."
Upon hearing his voice, Mr. Taylor's body stiffened.
He might fear Amelia Charlie, Violet Taylor, but he feared his son-in-law the most.
Unfortunately, the son-in-law had too high of a status.
Mr. Taylor calmed down and looked towards him.
Maxwell Hughes slowly spoke, "I'll find a way for you to meet Camilla Brown."
