Six figures emerged from the darkness of the elevator shaft. Their footsteps deliberate and synchronized like a trained unit. Each of them wore a sleek black windbreaker bearing the emblem of the Crimson Vale which is a stylized crimson hawk clutching a dagger in its talons with thread of silver on its body. The faint sheen of reinforced Mana shimmered across their suits under the pulsing chamber light.
At their center walked Larsen with his commanding presence. His slicked-back black hair glinted under the chamber glow. His narrow eyes scanning the room. He took a step forward then stopped.
His gaze locked onto the young girl who now fully visible on the chamber floor. Her cloaking spell had unraveled because the pain making it too much to maintain it.
She lay there while clutching her broken leg. Her black windbreaker stained with dirt.
Larsen's eyes narrowed.
