Anna Ainsworth and Jeremy Thompson's eldest aunt's DNA identification results were out on Monday afternoon, and when Jeremy called her to say the results were ready, she had just left the classroom.
"The doctor called me," Jeremy whispered on the phone, "do you want to go pick up the results yourself, or shall we go together?"
"Let's go together," Anna responded without thinking. She felt uneasy about Jeremy going alone.
"Then I'll come to pick you up at school," Jeremy said, "It will take about twenty minutes to get there. Wait for me at the school entrance; no need to go back to Elegant Garden..." Jeremy hung up after giving his instructions.
Holding her books, Anna walked toward the office. She wasn't sure if it was because she was pregnant, but she felt unusually tired during her classes today, particularly when standing too long. She had felt dizzy earlier and had almost fainted, barely stabilizing herself by holding onto the desk.
