"It's nothing, I just wanted to go home and take a look, maybe my husband is worried since I'm pregnant, but now I don't want to turn back halfway, so I have to hide. Really, thank you very much." Dongfang Li said, half-truthfully.
She couldn't possibly tell Qin Xue and the others that it was because the two of them had a fight, and for certain reasons, she no longer wanted to live with him, so she left with the child. She couldn't bring herself to say that, nor could she bring out her personal matters like that, so she had to give a half-truth, half-false explanation.
"It's alright, since you're pregnant and with a child, it's better to be more careful." Qin Xue advised. Seeing that she didn't want to tell the truth, Qin Xue didn't press further. Everyone has secrets they don't want to share, especially since they weren't familiar with each other. She merely gave a reminder.
"I will, thank you for your concern." Dongfang Li nodded toward Qin Xue and Nangong Beiying.
