Floating high into the sky, Chiba stood there with all of the veins on his neck bulging in strain.
He wasn't just lifting the nine tailed Fox up, he was also having to restrain it's overwhelming strength as it was resisting Chibas gravity! All it took was a moment of carelessness on Chiba's part and a tailed beast bomb would wipe out half of Konoha!
The stamina required to lift such a behemoth of a creature for long was more than even Chiba's body had, he was quickly being depleted! Normally Chiba wouldve given up on this fruitless action but thankfully Kisame had given Chiba a gift!
Samehada snaked around his wrist as he began feeling his physical stamina return to him, this was the special ability of one of the seven swords of the mist!
Samehada can absorb any chakra from an enemy, and give portions of it back to its user in forms of Chakra, stamina or even healing! After absorbing the nine tailed Fox for so long, even if it was a fraction of what the blade was actually getting, Chiba's stamina was refilled fast enough to keep the Fox in the air!
With his newfound endless stamina, Chiba levitated himself close to the floating fox and latched Samehada onto it, who immediately began greedily sucking in red chakra.
'With this, it's over! Samehada will drain Kurama of chakra and return the Jinchuriki back to their human form. Samehada will give me the stamina needed to hold everything up long enough. Its a self sustaining process!'
Realizing what's going on, Kurama began desperately fighting harder than before. It's arms and tails tried everything to break free from Chiba's gravitational control, quickly speeding up his tailed beast bomb.
Red and black balls of chakra began flying into the mouth of the incomplete nine tails, the chakra forming into a growing ball!
Ten seconds passed by and the tailed bomb was fully formed, the tailed beast was just a moment from launching the attack when suddenly it felt a pressure pooling down on him from above and pushing up from below as his jaws closed, causing the tailed beast bomb to explode inside of its mouth!
With half of its head blown off, it remained completely still for the rest of Chiba's treatment as he continued sucking away the chakra with Samehada.
The minutes passed slowly by as civilians began exiting their shelters due to the lack of battle noise, only to look up and watched the tails on Kurama go down from seven to six, then six to five and so on.
These civilians were quickly ushered back into the hiding by Konoha ninja, who didn't know what was fully going on and who was doing this insane feat.
By now the sentient sword Samehada was as large as a door and teeming with chakra.
Chiba watched as the last bit of red and black chakra finally receeded, revealing the slightly aged beautiful red headed Shinobi Kushina!
The sword Samehada tried to bite down on the defenseless kunoichi, only for all of the blood in its body to expand outward and threatened to explode the sword.
"Calm down Samehada, I no longer have a use for you, so you better behave!" The blade whimpered at Chiba's warning, it's mouth clamping shut and savoring the lingering taste of nine tails chakra.
Chiba floated back down with Kushina in his arms, the stench of iron strength the closer he got and the screams of agony and grief could now be heard.
There was a group of ninja that gathered around the place he was landing, their weapons at the ready and unsure about Chiba.
As his feet touched the ground, the ninja instinctively felt that the chakraless man that stood before them was beyond anyone or anything they fought before. The man's nonchalant demeanor and piercing black eyes made them understand he wasn't the least bit afraid of them!
Their feet unconsciously stepped back as cold sweats enveloped all of them, all of them excepts for two.
These two ninja two stepped forward, coldsweats still covering them but carrying on nonetheless.
"Hand over the Jinchuriki to us Chiba Uchiha, we'll be taking it to the acting emergency leader, Danzo Shimura" They spoke in a threatening matter, talking to Chiba as if he was an enemy than an Ally.
'So they're Danzos minions, makes sense they already knew about me despite being comotose. I know for a fact Danzo covets my unique Gravity ability'
"So your Root Ninja?" Before they could react, the two root ninja slammed face first into the floor, creating a loud slam as broken teeth flew out of their mouth.
"There is no way in hell I'm giving my sensei to the living embodiment of human greed. Where was danzo when the village was attacked? He was hiding underground like the rat he-" Chiba stopped mid sentence and his eyes widened as a blonde shinobi suddenly appeared before him.
The short blonde Shinobi wore a fox and had a unique three prong kunai in hand, a special fuinjutsu was carved into the handle.
"Unhand my mother! BASTARD!" The kunai was centimeters from cutting into Chiba's neck when suddenly his neck split open first!
The flesh Infront of the kunai moved out of the way of the blade and quickly reformed behind it, making it appear as if the blade harmless passed through Chiba like he was ethereal!
Instinctively backstepping from the ninjas attempted at grabbing Kushina, Chiba looked at the short ninja with wonder in his eye.
'They called Kushina mother, so is this Naruto?! He doesn't resemble his anime counterpart all that much.'
The boy standing before Chiba was dressed in a black and grey ninja outfit, a fox masked adourned his face, his shaggy blonde hair waving in the wind and had a pair brilliant blue eyes that radiated a calculated intelligence from them.
Chiba gauged Naruto's attack speed at high chunin but the fact that he suddenly appeared before him, meant that he had to have mastered the Flying Thunder God technique! This alone meant he was atleast a Tokubetsu Jonin, and that was just what he gathered from their short interaction!
"YOU!... MY MOTHER TOLD ME ABOUT YOU! A NINJA CAPABLE OF PHASING THROUGH ATTACKS AND OBJECTS! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO INJURED MY FATHER!"
The bloodlust and hatred pouring out of Naruto was palpable, causing even the leaf ninja to backstep as Naruto pounced forward.
'Ah shit. Naruto must've mistook me for Obito when i dodged his suprise attack by moving my flesh out of the way. I guess me attacking the root ninja would also add to that idea.'
"Kid this is just a misunderstanding" Dodging the kunai blade, Chiba casually defended against Narutos attack with Kushina still in his arms.
Looking at the boys sloppy attacks, Chiba felt the need to speak.
"Your letting your emotions guide your blade kid, you've been overcommitting and making it difficult to perform follow up attacks. I also know that your teleportation jutsu is heavily chakra demanding, meaning you've probably got just enough for one more. Its because of your lacking chakra that you can't use any other jutsu against me or else you'd be unable to teleport."
Narutos expression underneath his fox masked hardened, his eyes constantly glancing at his mother in Chibas hand. He felt fear realizing this man could easily read him like a book just from their short exchange.
Tightening his hand on his kunai, Naruto knew he couldn't defeat the man as even his father couldn't, but he had to do something even If it costed him his life!
"YOU'LL PAY! I SWEAR IT!" Naruto began making rapidly fast hand signs that seemed somehow familiar to Chiba.
Looking at the blonde Ninja's anger and rapid hand movement, an idea flashed through Chibas head when he thought about what jutsu would make Naruto so confident....the Reaper Death Seal!
