After a single teleport, Peter Brown stepped into the imperial palace.
As his gaze swept across, Peter noticed that the puppet clone he had placed here looked quite unpleasant.
Upon probing with his Divine Sense, Peter discovered an issue with the puppet—it was enveloped by a great power, rendering his clone's consciousness incapable of commanding its body or moving.
No wonder it hadn't contacted him for so many days—something had gone awry.
Peter was surprised by the situation. When he left, the puppet had been capable, so who in this palace could have reduced it to such a state?
Recovering his original appearance and donning a yellow robe, Peter stored the puppet away and strode outside.
"Your Ma-Ma-Majesty!" Eunuchs and palace maids waiting outside were utterly shocked to see Peter emerging. They stared at him in disbelief before dropping to their knees.
