{Central Hearth Area of Camp Half-Blood}
"Does anyone know who was responsible for security now that Agrus is gone?" King asked the group.
Clarrise thought for a second and then shook her head. "No one was officially in charge of the camp's security. I would say that we should ask Mr. D about it."
"It sounds like we do not have a head of security, so someone can take it up in response. I need more time to think about this and confirm with Mr. D," King said, putting his hand under his chin. "Until then we need to restock on critical medical supplies. I should have some Hermes Order forms. If anything I will ask him directly through Messaging. Everyone let us get to the Big House, it is officially lunch."
The group started walking to the Big House to see almost all of the camp getting situated. King, Natsumi, Percy, and Tyson walked to the head table to make their presence known to the new activities director and the head of the camp.
"Ah Peter Johnson, my millennium is made. This is the one I was telling you about Tantalus the son of Poseidon, the troublemaker." Mr. D said sipping on his Diet Coke as he rather loudly whispered to the man in a prisoner's uniform. "Oh on the other hand seeing you here, Harlequin is a breath of fresh air! Maybe now we can have some order around here to many people running around. What is that saying? Ah yes, Chickens with their heads cut off."
Tantalus looked over the quartet in front of them scrutinizing them all. "Thank you, Lord Dionysius, I will keep that in mind. Okay boy, I am letting you know now I will not have any trouble in my camp, do you understand."
Meeting the hostile glare back Percy responded to him with an edge to his voice, "Your camp is already having troubles sir or were the Bulls just a training exercise for the campers." Hearing his response King smirked along with Mr. D who cracked a small smile for a moment.
"Ah yes, that was a minor thing, it is not like anyone was injured, a tragedy that is." He said under his breath. King narrowed his eyes and released killing intent in his direction. That single act made Tantalus lose his smile in exchange for a new shade of white for his face. "Anyways, why don't you all go back to your seats? You know the one table where you sit alone." Tantalus remarked about getting a final jab at Percy. The group of 4 turned to walk away to only be stopped by Tantalus again. "Wait beast stay here we will decide your fate, maybe the Forges can use more workers."
Before anyone could retort, a sea-green light filled the Big House. An innocent-looking Trident now floated above his head providing Tyson his heritage. "All Hail Tyson the Cyclops, the Son of Poseidon, God of the Seas, Horses, Storms, the Earth shaker," King stated with a loud voice taking over Chiron's Responsibility.
Tantalus started laughing out loud during this time causing King to shoot him a very dirty look. "Now I see the family resemblance! It truly is uncanny!" Percy put his head down embarrassingly. King flared his killing intent again at Tantalus making him shut up.
"Okay, big guy go sit down with your brother. Do not take any of this personally I am sure anyone will come around." King said, patting the Cyclops' shoulder who nodded back sniffling. King sat down at the Demeter Table and then they finished out the rest of the lunchtime meal.
{After Table Dismissal}
The rest of the camp had run off to continue the rest of the day's activities. King ran up to the head table to speak with Mr.D while Tantalus went off as well. "Mr. D I have a question I need to ask you."
"What is it Harlequin? I am late for a meeting."
"I was wondering who was named the head of security of the camp since Argus was let go as well as Chiron?" King questioned the god of wine.
"Well come to think about it, I do not believe that anyone was given the title of head of security even if it might be temporary. Why do you ask?" Mr. D asked curiously.
"Since there is no head of security I assume that the responsibility falls to the camp director which unfortunately for you would be you," King said with a small smile.
"Ugh I kind of like you, can you not remind me of such things to make me like you less." Dionysius let out a tired sigh.
King chuckled at the god's humor, "With permission from you as an extension as the head of security of the camp, I would like to add to the protections to give us more sturdy protection if the barrier is to fall. It will take a little for the barrier to grow however it should be strong enough with enough time."
Dionysius raised an eyebrow, "Oh, and how will you do this?"
"With the blessing of Lady Hestia, some runes, and other materials. All of the materials will come out of my pockets at no cost to the camp." King explained some of this plan without giving too much away.
"Fine pending the blessing and permission of Lady Hestia I give you my approval to add this protection." Dionysius approved stroking his chin interested, "Use the hearth here so that I may hear her response."
King pulled out a sealing scroll and unsealed its contents an orange pelt. He also reached into his pocket and pulled out 5 drachmas. He tossed them into the Hearth and spoke out, "Lady Hestia of the Hearth, I sacrifice these in your name for a chance to speak about the well-being of the camp. The pelt of the uncatchable fox, and these drachmas I give onto you." King spoke out formally and sincerely. The pelt and the coins set a blaze and disappeared from the flames. Opening his eyes again he found himself face-to-face with Hestia with amusement in her fiery eyes.
"Ah the pelt from the Teumessian fox, I am surprised to see this as an offering you will probably never get one again Harlequin," Hestia spoke up with the pelt in her hands and her hood over her head. "I have weighted your sacrifices and deemed them worthy of an audience with me." She said in a semi-formal tone back to him.
"Well I will admit I am curious about the pelt as well but I must be off so good luck Harlequin with your endeavors I know Tantalus will make it difficult for you," Dionysius spoke out before vanishing.
"Now that he is gone what do you need of me Harlequin? You paid a hefty price just to get my attention which you could have gotten by just going to the camps hearth." Hestia asked with a small head tilt confused.
"I wish to build a room under your hearth where we can place a large wardstone to erect a barrier around the camp to keep out those with ill intentions. I know this is a massive thing to ask of you that is why I made a huge sacrifice. " King explained.
She looked startled at the request and then spoke softly, "You wish to move the hearth? This is a big deal. Explain to me more." She demanded and narrowed her eyes.
King went into his explanation of how he would erect the barrier. "We will make a hollow area underneath. After we will have both Athena Cabin and Hephaestus Cabin to build a room where the wardstone will be placed. I also think I can convince the Athena Kids to design a new area around the main hearth to honor you for this I believe the new area will attract more people to your flame strengthening it."
Hestia closed her eyes and started to think a little about his proposal. "Have the children of Athena make the plans for both and then send them to me if I find them suitable I will allow such a thing to happen but be warned Harlequin Liones if anything happens to my hearth I will be most displeased with you regardless of my fondness for you." King bowed his head in thanks to her she placed a hand on his shoulder. He looked up and saw her warm smile. "I agree with Dionysius good luck in your endeavors." She hugged him and then flamed away.
He turned on his heel and walked to Athena Cabin and knocked on the door. Soon Annabeth's brother Matthew opened the door for him. "Ah, King! Annabeth and Natsumi are in a project room working on that scroll but they are getting it done fast." Mathew said smiling letting him in.
"Great to know they are making quick work, I have another piece of work that I need to be done from Athena cabin, I have a room and hearth that I need to be designed." King offered to the boy.
"A room and a hearth? We are getting a new hearth?" Matthew questioned.
"I will give Annie the specifications of what needs to be done and what I want. There is kind of a strict deadline. Maybe she might let you take the lead on them seeing as you are second command here." King explained to Matthew.
"That would be awesome! Let me take you to where Annie and Natsumi are at."
Matthew led King towards the back of the cabin to where the personal design rooms were located. There were only 4 of them but they did the job fine. Stopping at the room marked 2. "Good luck they aren't fond of interruptions," said a chuckling Matthew.
King knocked on the door firmly and soon Natsumi opened the door. "King! What are you doing here? We still have hours to do work on the summoning scroll."
"I figured that but I need Annie for another project that is even more important right now. So if she can tear herself away from the scroll I could use her help. It is about the camp barrier." King seriously told the girl who nodded and moved out of the way.
"King? What is wrong I kind of heard what is going on." Annabeth asked barely looking up from the large scroll. King then explained the situation to Annabeth who looked at them intrigued once he started talking about new designs.
"Okay, Athena Cabin is on it! I am excited! I have already placed the main triggers on the seals I am sure Natsumi can get it done by herself. The room is open for her to use now let's get to a larger room and gather some of the other Athena Kids so that we can get this started." Annabeth hopped up excitedly dashing out of the room to fetch some of her siblings to the room marked 1.
King entered the room and started explaining the situation and added some of the various things he wanted the designs to incorporate. They were excited at the opportunity and quickly pushed him out of the room to get started laughing it off King then made his way to cabin 9 to see how everything was going there. Knocking on the door King heard a loud crash followed by the door opening he then found himself face-to-face with Charles the head of cabin 9. "Hi, King. If you are looking for the status of the bulls we just started to get cracking on it so you won't have anything really until this weekend or maybe next week in general." He told the younger boy in a gruff voice.
"No Charles I have something else I need from cabin 9 a big project. For it, you might want to recruit Tyson to help you all. After all, it is in his blood." King offered. Thinking about the offer Charles nodded.
"Yeah, that makes sense a Cyclops no matter how young will be a great boon for the cabin. What is the project that you need? New load of weapons? Armor?" Charles asked with a raised eyebrow.
"A construction project with Athena Cabin, we have the blessing of Lady Hestia and Mr. D. to do so. I am providing all the Funds and materials that you all need to get it done." King explained in more detail what he wanted done.
"Okay, you got it should I send you the bill for the labor? It will most likely be costly. I will also need to rearrange things around." Charles had a thoughtful look on his face trying to figure out things in his head. King pulled out a small scroll and handed it to him. With a questioning look, King answered his question.
"5,000 Drachmas, I gather quite a few fighting monsters and other things. I only want the best on this Charles it is very important it also covers some free time I need." Charles' eyes widened at the amount.
"Woah this is very serious. I will send a prayer to my father for his guidance in this maybe that will give us a little help. I will let you know the material list once I have it, King." Charles shook King's hand and then went back into the cabin.
King took a quick look at his stats to get an overall view of where he stood.

King sighed out a breath and made his way to an Iris Messaging Station. He took a coin out and spoke. "Please accept my offering and show me Apollo of Olympus if he is available."
The mist shimmered and revealed his Grandfather. "Grandfather I have something I need help with," King called out getting the sun god's attention.
"What's up, King!" A chirpy Apollo responded.
"We are starting to run out of Nectar and Ambrosia at the camp because of the frequent raids on the camp that the monsters are trying to make. Do you think you place a large order for me? I have the coin to pay for it." King responded with a scroll shaking in his hand.
Apollo nodded. "Okay, I'll have a few Deluxe packages sent to you how much do you have to burn?"
"Get me as much as 50,000D can get us we need as much as we can get. Add in some other medicines that might be useful to us as well will ya Gramps?" King finished cheekily.
Laughing at his legacy Apollo ended the call with a swipe of his hand. King laughed as well and threw 3 coins into the mist in an offering to Iris.
King left the Fountain and went to the forge he reserved to get started with his portion of the barrier project.
