"A what?" Koul said, surprised. He did know the rich politicians are not 'normal' by any stretch of the word, but that information was just crossing the boundaries of sanity.
"Yes," Crimson repeated calmly, " you heard me. A bunker."
"But why here? To a military facility?" Mera questions. "Not like Most of the people want to get out of here".
A bunker, as one might know, is a place built to facilitate high profile individuals in case of emergencies. However, considering the world has shifted into post apocalyptic mode, it's highly probable that some of the movers and shakers of America might be here in this base.
"And next to a nuke, let's not forget." Koul added. " That's like a definition of dangerous."
"Yes, and so is everything else we do. C'mon koul, we've been over this many times, you're either with me or not."
"..."the more he let others talk the more it felt like an unrealistic plan to crimson.
"Believe me, I'll get us Outta here. I know it's a gamble. But the only other way is walking through a horde of zombies. I like my chances better with this one."
The bunkers were built two ways. One to get in and one to get out. Which essentially meant 'the gate' might not be the only way out- looking at how the plaguebeast are coming through them, it wast a realistic choice. but with this,They might've just found their way to survive out here.
"Yeah, but you should know, the military guys won't just let us walk away like that, right? they are here with us and they will fight us to the death. "
Koul was being reasonable for once and it actually made sense. Crimson was the only one who wasn't shocked at that. In survival mode, the only ones who look the most reliable are the crazy ones.
" Yes I realise that," crimson said. "Which is why we are going to negotiate."
"Negotiate?" Mera eyes him funny. Of all the crazy stuff she was forced on, shaking hands with the cops was still her least favourite. " To the guys we were just trying to kill? Yeah, good luck with that, we might have better chances with that ."
She was referring to the uninvited guests they are now having to deal with- the zombies, minions of plague. even as they talk tight now, the bodies were piling up in this place and it might me not long before the plague might reach them. Any time now, they are in a deadline and she was not the least bit happy about the ticking clock. Not actually knowing when, and the idea of actually dying here, is eating on her patience.
"I don't have time to convince every one of you," crimson sounded determined at that. "I have plan like I always have. You're either with me or on my way...."
"And we all know what happens people in your way?" Tyrin spoke for the first time. He was with crimson since the day he joined the organization. With all the things they've been together there is no way, he didn't know the ash trail behind crimson.
"Yeah, man." Koul followed. "You can always count me in..."
The others in the team agreed with him. Everyone but Mera, of course. She did not feel the kind of kinship with these men like Koul and Tyrin. Her reason for being with them has never been intentional; it was a necessity. It was a eat or be eaten back then, However, her life is tangled with theirs for over the time.
If she was getting anywhere from here, her only hope was Crimson. So she nodded in agreement as well.
"Alright, then, here's what we're going to do-" Crimson starts explaining the plan to them.

The corners of Zeff's mouth twitches in pain as he lays down on the cold metal floor. First things first, he was alive. That meant he could fight tomorrow after today. well, 'today' was getting harder every moment.
because, just before this, he had to fight through a horde of zombies crawling in his way, further exhausting him. the beast helped him thin out the numbers and escape the bite but, they were only able to do so much with so many numbers.
"how's your condition?" Zeff asks Daksha, still laying on his back.
the beast was in a distance, shrunken in size, still looking out for potential dangers with its tired eyes. Daksha scoffed in reply.
both of them needed recovery time and they had none since coming here.
Zeff picked himself up, wobbling even with his body weight. his muscles answering pain even before he asked. near him was a communication tablet he picked up from dead bodies of soldiers. he heard the message as well.
'Damn it, sh*t has officially hit the fan, now,' he thought and he couldn't see another way from here. things have taken a turn for the worst and there was nothing he could do to change it.
he could lay down and accept his death but that has never been in his strong suit. he would fight it until the very end until he has nothing; rather than lay down his life. that would be an insult to him.
"get moving, fox. this is not over yet-.."
and right at that moment, his visions blurred again. his headache returned in a flash, the pain he closed off until now came crashing down like a flood. as if the gates of the dam has been open, his mind was rushed with agony he couldn't control.
"aargh!" Immediately losing the strength in his legs, he fell on his knees, his nose bleeding.
'no... This can't be... happening right now...'
before anything more made sense, he was knocked off when his head hit the ground. blood coming through his white hair.
Daksha came to him as soon as he started to fall but it was too late. he was out. all he could do is drag him safety. however... What happened next left him even more dumbfounded.
His hair was changing colors, turning from grey to dark. His muscles turning thinner. It was happening at the worst possible time.
Kai was returning.

Back in the area four where most of the innocent people were stuck inside their quarters and the military breathing down the invaders; In a certain quarter identical to all others, was William's home. after looking at the current state of things, he was beginning to lose more hope that he will ever see his son Jack again. he was awakened and had no choice but to volunteer when military asked him.
"daddy, is everything gonna be okay?" his daughter asked him, holding her small hands with teddy.
she was up and scared when all the shouting began her mom held her tight when the sounds of gunfire came through the metal walls. she was scared too. her father came rushing home, she didn't have enough facts too understand what was going on. but she under stood this: the danger to her world has come again.
First, it was the apocalypse that tore her home. when the monsters came bursting through her home ceiling and her dad fought it she brought a girl with him
and now its happening again... she could feel something is wrong. so she prepared herself for this.
"Are the monsters coming again?"
William didn't have the words to answer, his lips pursued to promise her that it's alright, but he knew he'd be lying. He can't do that.
"Honey, I know what this feels like, okay, this might look bad, but you know, no matter what happens, daddy will always keep us safe, right?"
"Mmhm," she nodded.
He hug her to reassure her. This was happening, again. He hated this feeling, of being unprepared, unsure of their future. His wife was standing opposite to him, watching this. She later joined them in the hug.
In the face of fear, the warmth of family was all the hope they needed keep fighting.
"It's alright, sweety."
To be honest, everyone was scared sh*tless at that time. Yes, everyone there in area four, from the innocent people to military men, not knowing what will become of them before the next morning. All reasonable dread in the face of death. But among all of them, in the whole place where this battle has dragged on for this long, is now came to a time it ends.
There was someone hidden among them that would end all this. Someone who was hidden this whole time when the fighting began. An awakened who stirred area four to what it is now and started this whole chaos when the ex-mayor was killed central square.
Among the bodies that pile up in central square, the unusually killed mayor was still laying down, slashed in two. It was seen as some laser cut him in half but no actually saw what led his death. It happened so suddenly that the shift in a moment's reality was complete chaos.
There was someone behind that. And surely, this person was never seen before area four and was never noticed. It was that girl who stood still and emotionless when everyone else was running all around. She was next seen in front of William's quarters.
It was the girl William saved and brought her to his home when things were hectic and he thought he had no choice. She was right now in the quarter that belonged to Grant family.
"You didn't tell us your name yet?" William asked.
"It's Kaine... Valeria Kaine." She replied, "you can call me Vale."
