An hour passed before the room gradually returned to calm.
Ryan Gregory lay on his side next to her. Out of habit, he reached for his cigarette pack. Just as he pulled out a cigarette and was about to put it between his lips, Sofia Hamilton snatched it away.
She grabbed the entire pack as well. "From now on, you're not allowed to touch these things!"
Didn't he realize he was still a patient?
And yet he still wanted to smoke...
Sofia pouted in slight anger, her lips pressing together as her dark, flowing hair cascaded down around her face. The contrast of her rich black hair made her delicate, fair complexion stand out even more, with a faint, lingering blush hinting at what had just transpired. Though her expression was tinged with anger, it carried a vivid liveliness.
It had been so, so long since he had last seen her wear this expression.
Only in the past did she get this serious about snatching his cigarettes, getting mad at him with a firm, "No smoking!"
