What pained him was that she chose to eat these things with him.
She could have lived a simple, carefree life.
Now, even the joy of eating had to be taken away from her.
He remembered—she loved food more than anything.
Ryan Gregory felt a bitter ache in his heart. "I don't care what I eat, but you…"
"Let Nathan Morgan hire a chef to come here. Whatever you want to eat, just have them make it for you."
He didn't want her to eat this bland food alongside him.
"I remember you especially love those Cantonese pastries, right? Then we'll have him find a pastry chef, or if there's anything else you're craving, just tell Nathan, and he'll take care of it."
Sofia Hamilton smiled, got up, and sat next to him. "I'm here to stay by your side and tough it out with you, not to indulge myself."
